Just bought Nikon P900, this remote will NOT TRIGGER it. I tried everything from focusing to triggering within different time frames. Could not get it to work, checked remote through the lens to see if it was working and IR flashed.

This remote is listed as being compatible with Nikon P900 cameras - it is not. When the remote arrived it says right on the box which cameras it is compatible with and the P900 is not one of them. This is the second camera remote I have bought from Amazon- the first one also was also listed as being compatible with my camera and it too was not. I was very careful to read the product description when I bought this to avoid having to return it, but someone needs to check that the product descriptions are correct.
