These are used on a lorex 4k system to run a camera with 160' of total wire (cameras came with the 60' wires). I put both Amcrest wires in a single conduit with one being a backup or 2nd camera solution. The wires have been run approximately 2 weeks now and no issues. My only complaint is some flickering and lines in the screen with the couplers. I tested both wires prior to running them underground while connected to my 60 foot wires. Moving the coupling only a few inches would distort the video. They would then need to be readjusted until the picture became clear again. When using the wire directly from DVR to camera, there were no issues whatsoever. The included coupler seems to be the issue I would assume. As this coupling was listed as part of the purchase, I feel inclined to rate the product on everything included. I would buy these again especially knowing what I know now.

Purchaser this cable as a recommendation from Amcrest to correct a potential issue I was having with a new/used 4K camera I purchased. Image was flickering and the customer support guy I spoke with thought it might be the cable. I was using the cable that came with my old Amcrest 1080p DVR kit, and he said it needed to be upgraded to support the 4K signal coming from the new camera. When it arrived, I really couldn’t tell much a difference between this cable and the one I was using previously. They looked to be the same thickness and flexibility, and the picture quality did not change at all when I swapped the cables on the camera.So, in reality, I think the Amcrest 4K camera will work just fine with a 1080p cable, at least with regards to a 60ft cable. Purchasing the basic cable can save you a bit of scratch at the end of the day, and it would work just as good, but be mindful when troubleshooting an issue with the camera. Customer support will ask you if you’re using the “proper equipment” if you contact them with issues with their products.So, one star knocked off solely for the reason that it made no difference in the picture quality coming from the 4K camera.

I took a chance with These cables in I hope Last a long time I will update my Experience with these amcrest bnc cables 150'... The only thing I did not like is the very cheap packaging and how am I supposed to know this is a real authentic amcrest premade bnc cable ? How am I supposed to know if this is 150ft we will find out .. Installers coming this week hopefully there no problems! &** still feel cheap Gauge of wiring I wish a company put more copper they would get more power !!!

when i connected my 4k camera it had horizontal lines on the screen. tech support said i needed 4k bnc cable. i googled it and found 2 sources saying my existing bnc cable will support a 4k camera because its analog. any way i tried this cable and the lines were still there. i have an 18 channel power supply. i finally tired a power supply from my 1st cctv setup and that fixed the horizontal lines. i try it on existing cable tomorrow. I ran 2 4k cameras using this cable.. 1 camera picture seemed odd at night so I swapped camera. I moved and in the process of placing cameras now. I will be ordering more of these

If you purchase the Amcrest 3 or 8 mp HD Analog cameras YOU WILL NEED THIS for the camera to transmit a clear signal. I used the old wire from my zosi system and it produced a distorted picture. As soon as I replaced that cable with this it was perfectly clear. After paying for new wire and cameras I may as well have purchased a new iP system as the price wasn’t that much different in the end.

Overall a good product, but I'm not sure if it's because of the length of the bnc cable because seems to creates twitching lines across the screen. Like an antenna I just adjusted cable & picture was clear. So if the cable moves again you have to repeat process. Otherwise, its good, just make sure your bnc cable is just right before you attach it to anything!

I put in a new Swann 4K 8 Camera system and needed several longer cables. The cables that come with the Swann cameras are 60ft, 10ft to short for 3 of the cameras I needed to install. So I ordered these, I wish they had 75ft cables. These worked perfectly fine with no loss of image.

These cables were recommended by amcrest customer support to help fix a video quality issue. They were a better price than other options, and shipped quickly. Unfortunately they did not fix the specific issue I was having, but I dont think it is because of the quality of the cables, rather a separate issue. If I needed these kind of cables in the future I would purchase again.

Si buscas un cable bnc mas largo para las cámaras Lorex de 5mp y 4K que venden en Costco, este es el cable indicado; hay otro modelo de esta marca pero es de menor calidad y la energía que transmiten NO es suficiente para prender las cámaras en la noche yo ya lo compré y lo tuve que devolver para comprar este.Las cámaras se bien bien en el día y noche, y responden a los comando para prender la luz y sirena de la cámara.
