Great Luggage!
Been using this for years. I prefer heard-side luggage, and especially appreciate the expandability here. I have the carryon & medium checked bag, planning on the large checked bag for a big trip.Don’t use the power port in the carry-on as much as I’d expected.PROsVery rugged and sturdy. Wheels very smooth and strong. Glides like butter through airports & ship gangways.Packs and organizes well.Sturdy zippers pulls easily lock in the tsa hardware, keeping them from snagging or loosening.Easy id on the carousel (GOLD!)CONsNo outside pockets for electronics.Surface not good for travel stickers. 🙁

Excellent Suitcase
This might be the best suitcase I've owned. It's been through several flights and shows no damage. The TSA locks work well and it's very easy to roll around.

Broken zipper on first use—Amazon, are you listening?
I gave my review 4 stars so more people would read what has really happened to a number of buyers of this Swiss Gear suitcase. I bought this suitcase for a Christmas gift. Upon first use (after the return window closed) the zipper broke & the suitcase fell open (& everything fell out) right in the middle of the airport. The breakage is obscured inside by the strip of fabric that is part of the interior lining. This is a nearly $200 suitcase that was used once & then it broke. Wouldn’t a responsible manufacturer reach out to the 20 plus people who wrote the very same review? Wouldn’t Amazon notice the negative reviews because of the zipper issue, or Swiss Gear respond by telling us how to fix it, or even mention a warranty that goes beyond the 1-1 1/2 months return window?

Not Worth $200
We bought this to replace an old soft shell suitcase we gave to our son. Thought this would be an upgrade. And it would have been, if not for the zipper. It has tons of space, it rolls very smoothly, and the outer shell is very durable. We used it once, just once. While zipping it up after getting packed up to leave on our trip, one of the zipper pulls came completely off. So now there is only 1 zipper pull. Zips all the way around so the suitcase is closed, but the TSA lock is useless now. Also, there is a flap of material on one side to keep the case together when flipped open, and the one zipper pull can get lost under that flap when zipped all the way. We had no choice but to take it on our trip, and it was fine, didn't break open, but I expected more from a $200 item. Can't return it because the return window is closed, so we are stuck with a faulty suitcase.

Great quality looks good
Really good quality, as I expect from Swiss Gear. Zipper compartments are well thought out and I had plenty of room for warm clothes and my full size tempurpedic pillow I always take with me. I used a set of packing cubes too, just regular ones not vacuum bags. The only thing that was not clear about the charge cable; you need to use your own mini power supply. There’s a clever internal pocket and a rubber sealed grommet to run the usb cable built in. I have a power pack about the size of my phone. It adds a few ounces and slips in the pocket they designed for this purpose. A good hard sided case - I’d recommend! I’d buy the bigger one too!

Good case, but arrived dirty and used
I have both the carry-on version and the 24" checked version. After a lifetime of mis-matched luggage it was time to have a nice set! I like that these have the 8 wheels instead of just the 4 for durability. I like the built in TSA lock. I also like the interior storage that comes built-in with these cases; which is helpful if you're moving from location to location frequently during a vacation. I expect that the carry-on version will last a very long time, but I'm not sure about the checked one. There is no grab handle for the base and the case itself isn't light. You won't want to overload the 24"+ sizes or it's going to get damaged. My main complaint is that the case arrived filthy from sitting in a dirty warehouse. It also arrived slightly "used" from someone who chose to return it. People, if you are going to return an item, put it back the way you received it. Someone else is likely going to get your "used" item in the condition you returned it. Failure to do so means that the karma gods are going to make the wheels fall off you luggage from henceforth.

Pretty awesome
Definitely its a show stopper. Pretty and durable yet completely functional on thw inside with various compartments that make sense.I was worried that it would not be thw same quality. But its legit quality swiss gear and an investment i reccomended. The colors in the store are limited and ao yours will stamd out in a good way. The added bonus was how the rose gold accents are quality and add a luxury to this already high end brand. I havent fully figured out the technology of using the usb port but i got it to work once, but i am unsure how to keep it charged? So one down fall. Overall I am happy with this purchase. As the vendor appears to be selling the real deal swiss gear and its clearly of quality and not a knock off. Also super light weight and passed all the little box at airport fit me testers as my last swiss gear duffle did not pass all the airport fit me testers. This one carryonw approved no hold ups, seems a for sure bet!

Durable luggage
My wife and I have a larger set of luggage from this company and have used them several times flying to Alaska and Texas and hold up well through TSA as well as other driving trips. This suitcase was needed because the trip wasn't a need for the larger suitcase and a backpack was to small. So this fills the spot were the 27" is to large and like my wife's 19" or a backpack would be to small.
