OTRIEK 9840 Professional Digital Meat Pocket LCD Thermometer with Battery, New,

This is the second one we have had. Would not have had to buy this one but dropped the first one too many times. First on was red, this one is black. Will likely last forever.

Needed an easier to use kitchen thermometer and a friend told me he uses this one. I love it. It is so easy to use and is accurate and fast. Highly recommend.

Have purchased this multiple times over the years and replace when battery dies. Have purchased four in the last few months and all have stopped working. Would not recommend. Quality has decreased.

"Temperature Range -58°F To 302°F" Maybe, but the LCD display becomes unreadable much below freezing. Apparently, Taylor chose to use a standard LCD display instead of an Extended LCD display. Operating range of a standard LCD is 0°C - 50°C. Whereas an Extended LCD is -20°C - 70°C. Bad decision for a thermometer. How do you measure freezer temp? As a meat thermometer it seems very good. Responsive and seems accurate.
