While the material cover is soft and the filling in the pillow itself is soft, there is too much filling stuffed inside. But to be fair I have a serious neck problem. I feel that if we were given the option to remove some of the filling to meet our comfort level then this would be the perfect pillow. I have been trying to find a pillow with that option. I will be cutting the pillow to remove the filling and place it in another pillow that has a zipper on the side to add inside. Over the yrs that pillow stuffing has become lumpy and needed replacing and can’t find another like it or the right filling. Luckily this pillow has the right stuffing so I am happy with my purchase. My husband has the second pillow and does agree with me that it is a bit on the firm side but he likes the firmness of it and it does support his head & neck well and it is comfortable. Only big issue for us is that there are no pillowcases to fit. When trying to fit a pillowcase on it - it makes the pillow way too tight & firm and uncomfortable. They need to make a pillowcase for this pillow. A standard, Queen, king does not fit.UPDATE: 1/13/2025This order came with 2 pillows. I have a lot of hardware in my neck including several small rods in my neck so to find a good pillow to be comfortable is very difficult to find. My only solution is to have a pillow with a zipper which I can remove or add the filling as needed, it just has to be the right kind of filling. This pillow has the right kind of filling to where I can put inside my original pillow that I have. Over time the filling just becomes lumpy and uncomfortable to which I need to refill with new filling. After a long search I found this pillow which had the same kind of filling I’ve been looking for to restuff my pillow. So with that said I can’t really review this product myself except to say that it has the right filling inside to help me with my sleeping but I can say with what my husband tells me which is he has no complaints, in fact he is happy with it and it supports his head & neck well. If you have a serious neck problem this might not be the pillow for you unless you already have a pillow with a zipper and can restuff it with any kind of filling then I do recommend the filling in this pillow. Sorry for the long review but I do hope it helps anyone who is struggling and is in the same situation as me.

This set of Viewstar Down-Alternative, Gusseted Queen sized pillows is everything I've been looking for. First and foremost, they arrived in vacuum sealed packaging, so I know they're free of any dust or contaminants encountered on their way to my door. Upon breaking the seal and removing them from the plastic they fluffed up quickly. After shaking them a little, they fluffed up even more. Pressing into them with my open hand they felt soft to medium-firm. Not too firm, nor too soft. They felt fluffy, soft, and squishy but with a little resistance.After sleeping on one of these pillows I'm happy to say that they are extremely comfortable. It cradles your head nicely without flatting out under your neck, so yes, they definitely offer support in that area. It did not cause excessive heat and it retained its shape. I used a 100% cotton zip closure pillow protector over the pillows before putting on my pillow cases. It was tight fit to get the zipper done because of how lofty and fluffy the pillows are. (I think the zipped case will help them retain their shape in the future.) My head did not slide off the pillow, my neck had good support, and I slept like a baby the first night. I'm hoping that trend continues! Will update in the future.

I have had these pillows for five months now. They are still as puffy & lofty as the day I received them. (My partner & I do rotate between two pillows each. So each pillow is only used half of the time.)The other pillows we have are this brand, but with the dark gray gusset. There is more filling in the all white pillows. I actually think there is a little too much filling in the all white pillows. I am a side sleeper and I wake up with my head barely on the pillow.The pillows with the dark gray gusset are absolutely perfect. They have the perfect amount of filling in them! I'd give them 5 stars!The covering on all of the pillows is very soft. Due to the fluffiness of these pillows, I had to purchase new wider pillow cases. (I was unable to "stuff" them into my existing pillow cases.)

These pillows perfectly balance firmness and softness, making them fluffy and comfortable! I admit that I was a bit skeptical when I first took them out of the vacuum-sealed packaging. However, after following the instructions to fluff them up and putting them in the dryer the next day as directed, all my doubts disappeared. They barely fit in the pillowcase, I love these pillows! They are just what I needed for a good night's sleep.Well worth the price I Paid for them. They fluff up as soon as you raise your head and return to their original shape.

Great pillow! They are so soft and fluffy. I’ve had my pillows for two years and they are still in great condition!

Incredibly thick/firm for me personally. Just even side sleeping they were so thick it stretched my neck to an unrealistic position. And even though the material is “soft”, the pillows are very overfilled. They definitely “shrink” when you lay on them, but they are like 8 inches thick to begin with, and once they do compress—and only where you put all your body weight— it’s like a brick. But like a springy brick fighting with you to fluff back up all night if you dare to move a millimeter. Forget about using them in an envelope style pillow case unless you want an unfair advantage in an MMA style pillow fight. Be prepared for an assault with a deadly weapons charge though.If the center had a like a head shaped divot or if there were just even rationally filled I think I could *maybe* get behind them.If you like hotel style pillows, but wish they were firmer and thicker and nothing like hotel pillows—then these are probably for you.If you need a pillow you can sink into and switch positions and actually sleep on—like at a hotel—this is not the one.Giving 3 stars as the pillows themselves aren’t bad—just not what I thought I was buying. The conflicting reviews don’t help either.
