This is a professional VOIP phone. As such, the menus may seem confusing or even overwhelming to a non-PBX expert. The phone has a full feature, fully customizable color screen and 3 levels of DSS keys on the side, easily navigated with a 1,2,3 button - making the phone handle displays for up to 96 extensions! For the cost, this is a really awesome SIP phone. I'd highly recommend to professional phone installers using SIP.

Great Phone available in many places. You will never find better support from a vendor This order came from ABNICS. I hand an issue with the cord staying in the handset. Fanvil support said to get an RMA from the seller - boo. I contacted ABNICS and they shipped a replacement that day, no questions asked. You can't beat that.

Unfortunately, when talking on Speaker phone with another device, the audio cuts out the other speaker as if the sound from the speaker loops back into your microphone. Not a high quality phone. Tested on 4 brand new ones.

The phone offers many BLF buttons but one thing this phone does that my other brand voip phones do not do is let you know when a phone is unplugged. For example, if John accidentally pulls the plug out of his voip phone and I have him setup on one of my BLF buttons, I can see that his phone is offline because the lamp goes out. This also tells me right away what phones on the system are offline. Prior to this phone I could never tell if the phone was offline or not as the BLF would remain green even if the phone was pulled from the Ethernet. This feature is super fantastic and I’m not sure why it’s not implemented in all voip phones. When setting it up you need to choose “memory key —> presence”. I found the phone easy to provision. If you are familiar with provisioning voip phones this one works very much the same way. Throughout my testing I did encounter one issue, in the dial plan the comma is supposed to be used for a second dial tone. Let’s say you dial 8 for an outside line, you want to hear the dialtone again after pressing 8. This did not work. I contacted Fanvil about it and within 2 days they changed the firmware and sent it to me. Now that is great service!! Everything is working great now. The only minor thing is the volume of the speaker phone. Even at the lowest level the volume is quite loud. That’s really the only small issue I can think of. Sound quality is good otherwise. I definitely recommend this phone. I love it and I have a huge number of voip phones by a variety of companies. This one is my most favourite. Great design and excellent functionality with many options to choose from when setting it up. I bought one more and I will be buying more in the future.
