Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK (Black Edition) Motherboard Core i7/i5/i3 LGA1150 Intel Z97 Express ATX RAID Gigabit LAN (Integrated Graphics)

Probably one of the best mid-level motherboard I've had my hands on. It's sexy, it's durable and built for overclocking madness. It's geared for dual-SLI (Nvidia) GPUs. There's really nothing bad to say about this motherboard. The price was also decent too. not bad at all. The whole board is coated in a black paint that supposedly gives it more durability and heatsinking capabilities. Pair this up with Gigabyte's App Center software and you've got yourself a very user friendly mobo. Definitely no regrets in upgrading to this motherboard.

Bought this motherboard to replaced an older system. Installed fine except that one of the holes in my case doesn't match with one of the standoff. Had to leave it out. High quality motherboard and even the box that came with it is heavy. Love the black and gold design. The SATA ports are place horizontally instead of up for better airflow i think. I would prefer them up for easier connection. It would be nice if it has 2 more extra SATA ports.The only useful included app is Easy Tune. The rest are just not that useful. Having had any problems with the motherboard so far. Seemed very stable. The core i5 and Crucial ram ran fine on this motherboard. Need to update the Bios and latest drivers after installation.

So far so good, Board looks great have not had much time to run any bench marks but i am really enjoying it I will update as i play with it some more.Edit: I have had this board for a few months now and have had absolutely no problems with it, I have a stable 4.5ghz Oc on my i5 4670k cooled by a swiftech h220x with a evga supernova 1000w p2 psu 8 gigs of ram.the bios is fast you can't even get into the bios before boot if you go with ultra fast boot. Overall i am happy with this board and would be even happier if they brought the "buy one get one free" promo to the united states I guess the only real thing i don't like about the board is the m.2 slot is only x2 not x4 so it wont utilize the full potential of the new x4 m.2 ssd's

For the most part this seems to be a very good motherboard. I had two small issues with the board.1. I could not get the cable from my front USB3.0 ports to stay connected to the motherboard header. I ended up bending the pins while trying multiple times to get the cable to remain in place, so eventually I could not use the 3.0 header. I ended up buying a converter cable and just attached the front USB3.0 ports to one of the 2.0 headers. They work fine just don't have the 3.0 speed. 2. I found that I had poor results when trying to watch YouTube videos if I used the internal LAN card. I have a USB WiFi antenna that works fine so I use that. I really don't know the reason for that except that when I installed the drivers for the LAN card I may have chosen the wrong drivers. Gigabyte offered a couple of different driver options depending on what revision the motherboard was. I missed this when building the computer but they say in the manual that the revision number is marked on the front of the board. You may want to check the number before you download the drivers, or it could be that the LAN card is just defective.Overall very pleased with the performance so far. I installed Windows 7 Pro as my OS and everything is humming along. Definitely a better board than my previous ASUS board.

This is a solid motherboard. I ordered this to replace the one I purchased a couple of years ago due to water damage. The original one actually continued to run on my family member's PC for a few hours even after having liquid spilled on it. This is really a great Haswell system board and worth the price. Every single board and system build I've done on these since they were released have worked flawlessly out of the box.

This is about Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK (Black Edition). The motherboard was defective - two out of the 4 memory slots did NOT work.First let me say I am buying from Amazon for ~15 years and had many good and a few bad experiences but have NEVER written a review until now so, I am not a complainer. I also understand that every now and then there will be a defective piece and we trust that the seller or the manufacturer will "fix the problem" promptly. AND THAT IS MY PROBLEM WITH GIGABYTE.I reported the problem ("2 memory slots are defective") on July 2nd '15. The eSupport staff asked me to check this and do that for days and finally authorized return 12 days later. UNACCEPTABLE. But it only gets worse.The board was delivered on 7/29/15 according to USPS tracking. Gigabytes website shows the item was received on 8/4/15 - FULL 7 days delay. The website shows "Repair date" as 8/5/15 but as of today (8/13/14), their is NO NOTIFICATION that has been shipped back.So, my suggestion to Chief of Gigabyte support is this: Take out the motherboard from you primary workstation and leave it out for 6 weeks. And see how YOU feel about it. VERY DISAPPOINTED. This was my first Gigabyte product and the last. I have bought many ASUS motherboard in the past and never had any problems (to be fair, I never had a defective ASUS product so never had to deal with their returns/repairs). I have no relationship with Gigabyte or ASUS. Like most Amazon customers, I make purchase decisions after much research and reading product reviews.Too bad giving ZERO stars is not an option!

This motherboard was for my first build, so the project was a bit intimidating (lots of wires to hook up not to mention a watercooler), but the manual that came with it explained everything well enough because it's running like a champ and the house didn't burn down.I put a core i5 into it, but it can handle the i3 or i7... Nice upgrading capability for the day the i7 comes down in price.Overall, this board made the build a great experience and my PC runs perfectly. Big thanks to Gigabyte for manufacturing a great product.

Si estás buscando un producto que te de todas las características de una tarjeta de gama alta pero sin tener que pagar tanto esta es la respuesta. Tiene todo lo que un gamer necesita chipset Z97, PCI EX 3, SATA 3, GB LAN, etc. a un precio realmente atractivo. Además el color y el diseño de la tarjeta es espectacular por si tienes un gabinete con ventana puedes presumir fácilmente. Todo lo que le he instalado ha funcionado a la primera a sus máximas especificaciones sin necesidad de configurar nada y aún así el BIOS tiene para que puedas mover todo lo que se te antoje. Excelente producto.

Excellent motherboard, works well with the right memory. You need to do your homework for supported memory modules to ensure it will over clock to the required speed. Currently running OSX Mavericks with minor tweak for the audio driver, found by searching the mackintosh websites.Update: after 2 years of use as a 'hackintosh' the motherboard has now been migrated to be the basis for a Linux system, hosting a digital video recorder and Plex media server! Performance is excellent and ideal for an always on system, given the 5 yr warranty.

Ich muss erstmal zugeben, dass ich schon seit über 20 Jahren Gigabyte-Fan bin.Dennoch habe ich vor diesem Kauf sehr kritisch auch Mainboards von Asus (mag ich nicht so) sowie ASROCK (schon besser) und MSI (fast so gut wie Gigabyte) in meine Vorauswahl genommen.Zuerst wollte ich nur so günstig wie möglich kaufen, und dachte auch an einen B85 Chipsatz. Overclocking ist mir schnuppe. Als ich mich jedoch mit den Boards beschäftigte, fand ich einige Gründe, doch eben ein "größeres" Board auf Z97-Basis zu wählen. u.a. waren mir 4 Ram-Slots wichtig, die M.2 Option für Onboard-SSDs wollte ich gerne mitnehmen, und die zusätzlichen USB3 Anschlüsse fand ich schon wichtig.Das UD5H hätte ich noch lieber genommen, es bietet noch ein paar Spielereien wie E80 Error Display, Powerbutton auf dem Mainboard, 2x 1Gbit-Lan Buchsen mit Intel und Atheros Chips, und nochmal 2 USB3 mehr im Slotblech.BLACK EDITION nötig?Fraglich ist natürlich, ob es die Black Edition sein muss. Technisch sind die Boards identisch. Die BK wählte ich aber aus einer Reihe von Gründen:- ich finde sie optisch cooler.- Aktuell gekaufte BK-Editionen kann man bis zu 3 Jahre (!) gratis(!!) gegen Nachfolgemodelle eintauschen(!!!!)- Unter [...] kann man bis 27.12.14 (wird eventl. verlängert?) bis zu 41,50 Euro CASHBACK erhalten, wenn man auch eine Devils Canyon CPU kauft (i5-4690K oder i7-4790K)!!!So gesehen hätte ich also die Non-BK Version für 119,- kaufen können, oder die BK Verion für 133,-. Die 14,- Euro Aufpreis empfand ich da als Geschenk :-)AUSPACKENAlleine schon beim Auspacken hab ich mich gefreut wie ein kleines Kind. Gigabyte weiß wirklich, wie man schöne Dinge richtig wertig einpackt. So ist die gesamte Verpackung sehr hochwertig, und erst öffnet sich ein Deckel mit einem Sichtfenster darunter woraus man dann vom Mainboard angelächelt wird. Ich steh auch so einen Scheiss :-)Neben dem Mainboard, den Anleitungen usw. sind auch noch 4 sehr hochwertige Sata-Kabel dabei - ummantelt von schwarzen Nylonnetzen. Sehr stylish.EINBAUDer Einbau ging supereinfach von der Hand, toll sind die gut platzierten Anschlüsse. So sauber und aufgeräumt war noch nie einer meiner PCs, obwohl ich mir da immer Mühe gebe und dieses Gehäuse hier schon 7-8 Jahre alt ist. Also noch keinen doppelten Boden für Kabel hat.EINSTELLUNGNachdem ich von einem P35 Board mit intel Q6600 (7 Jahre alt) endlich upgegradet habe, kommt mir das UEFI-Bios einfach nur wie ein Traum vor. Es enthält Quick&Easy Modi, ebenso wie Expertenmodi ("Classic") und man kann wirklich an jedem virtuellen Schräubchen drehen. Ein Traum!SOFTWARERichtig geil finde ich auch noch die Software die mit dabei ist. So ist eine CloudServer-Lösung dabei, die mir sehr gut gefällt, Fernwartungssoftware die Überwachung und sogar Overclocking per Handy-App erlaubt!!!, sowie OC-Software, Tools fürs Bios, Fastboot, GameMode und und und..Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn:Ich glaube, es gibt einfach nichts besseres als Gigabyte. Ich hatte auch noch folgende Boards im Auge:GA-Z97X-SOC-FORCE - Super Geil, besonders wenn man die OC-Tasten verwenden will oder es außerhalb eines Gehäuse betreibt.GA-Z97X-Gaming 5, GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK (siehe oben).Das GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK wurde es dann aus Vernunftsgründen. Wer etwas unvernünftiger ist als ich darf gerne zum UD5H greifen und sich meines Neides gewiß sein :-) Aber ich kann ja auch noch im Rahmen des Black-Edition Upgrades auf ein höheres Board gehen, und dann ein Folgemodell als 5er Version nehmen. Genauere Infos hierzu auf der Gigabyte Homepage.Von mir jedenfalls volle 5 Sterne, weils leider nicht mehr gibt.Falls nun jemand denkt, ich wäre irgendwie assoziert mit Gigabyte, so muss ich enttäuschen. Ich bin sehr leicht als selbständiger Fotograf und Betriebswirt ohne jeglichen Bezug zu Gigabyte googlebar ;-)Als CPU-Kühler empfehle ich übrigens den Scythe Mugen 4 PCGH zu welchem ich ebenfalls eine Rezession verfasst habe.

Esta MB está garantizada a nivel server grade, sí necesitas una pieza de hardware que aguante el trabajo pesado y que nunca te falle, la gama Black de Gigabyte nunca te decepcionará.
