Works great, but runs a tad small
I usually wear a men's 8.5 shoe, so I ordered the "E" size of these FINIS Zoomers Gold. The "E" is supposed to fit Men's 7.5-8.5. but they were too small for me. I could barely get them on my feet and the fin were way too tight when I did. I know fins are supposed to fit a tad snug so they won't fall off my feet in the pool, but they were just too tight for comfort. So, I had Amazon do an exchange for size "F" fins. It was VERY easy to fill out the online info and I had my new fins in 2 days with my Amazon Prime. Amazon also paid for the return shipping on the first pair that was too tight. The return process could not have been more simple. I got my new Finis Zoomers Gold in 2 days as promised. The Size F fins fit perfect. I recommend if you are at the top end of size range like I am, then order up a size. The E would probably be fine for a size 7.5 (maybe even 8), but was too small for 8.5. Anyway, I wore my new Zoomers to swim my laps today at the YMCA. I swim a mile (freestyle) three times a week. Up until now, I felt like most of my workout had been in my arms/shoulders. I wanted to feel more work in my legs that's why I bought fins. The Zoomers did exactly what I'd hoped for. I swam my mile in about 5+ minutes less than usual with the Zoomers, but I felt a lot more work in my legs. Because I finished a bit early, I added an additional 5 laps with a kickboard using the Zoomers to work my legs more and that helped too. I think I will see significant improvement in my leg strength by using these. I highly recommend these, but order up if you are on the top end of a size range.

Good, Heavy, Strong Fins, but be careful with Size and Friction
I purchased the Finis Yellow Zoomers Gold to help me strengthen my Swimming Skills and Leg Muscles in the water along with other bits from the same Finis training tools. Based on the reviews that was a good choice and I made the right decision. Observations: Blades are Stiffness and heavy. Heel comfortable and natural curve with foots heel, easy to slip foot in. I Select Size H as I use Size 12 US shoe Size / 11 AUS and it fits perfectly. Going smaller would not have been a good idea. But, there is a small issues, as I have seen other complain about it, well it happened to me, one of my toes suffered from a bad case of friction with the Blades and peeled the skin off of a small area enough to cause me to remove the Fins and try to do something about it. I ignored the friction in the beginning as I was exercising in the pool. I did some clean-up of the excess rubber and I think I resolved it. Looking at both the fins, they are made in my case from the same Mould as they had the same imperfections at the same location as shown in the images. Using a fin cutting sharp tool, I cleared the excess rubber and that solved the problem. Conclusion: Good, Heavy, Strong Fins., perfect Fit if you get the size correct, use swimming socks or make sure to minimize the friction between your feet/toes with the fins to avoid blisters and skin injuries.

Flip flopping away
I love these flippers to a point! I do get some rubbing on the tops of my toes on the left foot…..Not happy about that. I have added a sport sock on the left and that helps. I shouldn’t have to do that for the price I paid. Disappointed The quality was great and the sizing was accurate.

IMPROVES OVERALL LEG WORKOUT
Just the right size for lap swimming. Sizing runs true. Socks may be required to avoid hot spots. Offers improved kicking intensity.

zoomer gold vs. v2
I was debating between the two when I wanted to buy a pair of fins. So I had a live chat w/ a customer service rep. She was really helpful. Below is a summary of what I learned: The Zoomers Gold helps the swimmer to keep a fast kick but move more water and hence work the legs. If you are going to do swimming to work your legs and have about 30 minutes to squeeze a workout in, then go for the Gold. Also the Gold tends to help newer swimmers feel the propulsion and be more aware of their legs. The Zoomers Gold are a little heavier. The Z2 is the more refined option for the same purpose. It's slightly longer (1/2") and more flexible with an added toe box on the underside of the fin to really catch more water on the upkick. If you are going to be doing any long swims time wise or distance wise, then the Z2 is a better option. Also, if you are comfortable swimming and want to add a muscle building and comfortable fin to the routine, the Z2 is the way to go Both are short fins which help you to maintain a quick kick tempo and you will feel less different when you kick without the fins. As I am still a beginner, trying to improve my kicks, I bought the Gold, and loved them. Very comfortable and definitely, I am more aware of my kicks. Good luck!
