Love it
Love this! Super long and matches my pc set up perfectly! Has been dragged on the floor a little and still holds very well and has no damage so far. Super recommend if you’re looking for a cute cable that has length to it

Perfect for connecting my office pc to my router through the attic!
I bought this cable to hard wire my pc in my office directly to my router in the living room. The cable has no catch tabs on either end which made dropping the cable through my walls from the attic a cinch. Mno worries of snapping a tab as i fed it through. The cable is solid copper and meets all required codes for wall installations. It was the perfect length and so ridiculously inexpensive. I didn't care that the cable was red since i was never going to actually see it. I bought this along with 2 monoprice wall plates that had a cat5e and coaxial connector in one to only require a single wall plate in both rooms. I couldn't be happier!

Good luck disconnecting this cable once installed
The anti- snag boot on both Monoprice Cat5e cables I bought insure that you can NOT unplug them by hand. The only way I could disconnect the cable was to insert a flat tool such as a feeler gauge, small screwdriver or butter knife to depress the locking tab. This because the design and stiffness of the boot makes it quite impossible to disengage the tab by a normal (or even very excessive) pinching between thumb and forefinger. I made sure the problem wasn't with the female socket by trying both ends of both cables in 3 or 4 different devices, including a cable tester... same result in every case, had to insert a tool to disengage the locking tab.Nothing wrong with my hand strength or dexterity, this is just a really, really bad design of a common simple device. Worth considering only if you want to keep a curious child from disconnecting your internet. The cable itself seems typical for the price point, my tester did not see any problems with either one.I own some other Monoprice products, have always been satisfied... this one is a fail.

AFAIK, the pink color is the only difference between this "Monoprice 50-Feet 24AWG Cat5e 350MHz UTP Bare Copper Ethernet Network Cable" and several other Monoprice ones. So, when this pink one went on sale for $5.36 while the other-colored ones were in the $15-18 range, I bought a couple.I connected one from my Comcast router to my desktop Mac and the download speed doubled (from ~60Mbps average to 120Mbps according to the Ookla Speedtest) compared to what I was getting via wifi.

The wire itself bends in a way that does not inspire confidence but then the intention was to have a shorter wire and not fiddle with it once the connection was made. For those reasons alone and the price I would buy this again if needed.

This is not a low priced cable!
This cable, required one of the ends to be replaced after my ISP service technician found he could not get a connection due to one end not being wired correctly. Thankfully, I had this individual in my home to provide this service for me, otherwise, the purchaser may have been out of luck. The end was not connected as per the accompanying documentation.I also discovered afterwards, that I should have purchased cable from Princess Auto, as I could have had 100ft for less than $10.The only plus in my mind is that it was delivered to me quickly.

it worked
well packaged, easy to work with, it has a larger "head" than old cat5 cables so a larger hole must be made if going through walls/floors,

I like that there were colour options
Exactly as advertised. I like that there were colour options, and the quality feels high. One thing worth noting is that one foot is a lot less than you think. Get 2 feet.
