Surprisingly easy to install. Work great
These front hood struts were surprisingly easy to install on an ES350. They fit perfectly and provide excellent support for the hood. Easy to install and worked as expected.
I had to replace my car’s hood struts. One of them had leaked and was no longer holding up. Before I started I would have wished I had a stick to hold up the hood or someone help me. I made the mistake to think I could hold up the hood while I changed the struts. I saw a mechanic once use lock pliers to hold up the hood. The hood is a not heavier than anticipated. This made it more difficult to change due to my lack of planning. Other than that it was straight forward changing. I do remember having to use some force but that’s because I didn’t plan correctly and I was holding up the hood with one hand and trying to change out the strut. Plan correctly and it should be easier. I would recommend this product.
