Coming For You: Dirty, Dark, and Deadly Book Three

This is why I love JA Huss!
I am IN LOVE with JA Huss!! Not in the creepy stalker way, calm down. I have finally finished reading (in three-ish hours I might add) Coming For You and am so glad I loved it! I know now 100% I will never hate anything she writes, JA delivers every time on all levels. This book was perfect mix of sexy and thrilling. I was stressing out for a good part of the book about what was going to happen to all the characters I have grown to love. Because as much as I LOVE Ford Aston, and I really do! James Fenici is my first love. I'm not going to crazy divulge on this review, I would never want to spoil anything. And there are SO MANY SECRETS revealed in this book!!Let me start by saying I am a huge fan of Sasha now, I take back not fully trusting her, because in the book she really does care about James and Harper. She knows James can turn into Tet and be a little scary but she knows he can be James too, and that's what counts. And James is equally as taken with his little Smurf. He knows it's wrong to involve her in all of this but he needs her and he trusts her and they are a great team. Nick Tate finally comes into the picture and OMG how much he loves Sasha kills me. He is willing to walk away from her (seeing as he is 18 and she is 13 and he knows it's not OK to marry a child bride) and he tries to give her as normal a life as he can. I love this about him, I love all the sacrifices he makes in this book and can not wait to see him in the future ;DJames and Harper!!! Yay for the best couple EVER!! There's a lot of stuff going on with Harper now that she is back on her fathers yacht..and the person she was promised to is involved almost immediately after being taken there. He whisks her away to a new life and she is expected to comply but this guy is surprisingly caring and patient and wants her to want him. I can't say who he is, I can't do that to you if you haven't already read this so we'll stop this train of thought now. But we all know James is a man with a mission and that mission is Harper *sigh* *swoon* Harper gets a little more badass in this book, which is great because I was starting to worry about her.Bonus!! Got a little Ford Aston action in this book which is amazing!! Because if it wasn't obvious by now, I'm a little obsessed with Ford and all that concerns him. I like how him and Ashleigh named their son, Five. Odd as it is, but a sweet sentiment to the man Ashleigh will always love :) I loved this Epilogue! It makes me excited for all the other books to come. I hope it's soon! So everybody reading this (assuming you've tolerated my review so far), if you like sexy and thrilling and a little humor and a lot of action mixed with a smidge of dark and dirty...then this series is for you, and honestly, probably all JA Huss books are for you. Because she rocks and there is never a dull moment in her work. No, I'm not being a kiss ass, just speaking the truth!See all my other reviews at www.latenightsbookblog.com!

A complicated end to the series
Full review here => http://afterdarkbooklovers.com/2014/11/24/book-review-coming-for-you-by-ja-huss/My first thoughts after finishing this book: my head hurts! Now, don’t take that the wrong way and assume I didn’t enjoy this book. I did, but not many books require me to think so much. Some books are a light read, some are brainless. This book is neither. It is complex. I initially had this book on text-to-speech, but had to turn that off because I was getting confused. This book requires your full attention or you too, will get lost.“So you are an assassin?”“No. I told you, I’m the control.”“So Control is your code name?”Told from three POVs – James, Harper, and Sasha – we get a different perspective as to what is going on. The multiple POVs and various names for each character (James goes by three different names), along with the history of The Company, it was easy to lose track of what happened. One thing they all seem to agree on, to varying levels, James is a bit crazy. You might be too if you went thru what he went thru.“I can’t decide if you’re a brazen fool, an evil mastermind, or a gentle man.”It amazed me how The Company turned on him. As their best assassin, he seemed to do anything they asked in the past. But that all seemed to be a ploy.Everyone seems to bring up James’ crazy state as to why he couldn’t be trusted. But from his POV, you can see he has a good purpose – saving and protecting Harper and Sasha. Does he manipulate them and mislead them at times? Yes, but I believed he had the best intentions in doing so.In this story, we are introduced a new character, Vincent.Who the heck? That was my first thought.Go away! My second thought. He throws a wrench into the whole James/Harper promise and I was not pleased, as you might have noticed. I won’t give away his connection to the two, but like Harper, I really struggled with whether he had good intentions and was just trying to have a chance. The verdict is still out, but I don’t think he’s a douche like Harper’s dad, The Admiral. This guy . . . I can’t even!Anyway, let’s switch to who I did love.FORD ASTONOh yes, my friends, he makes an appearance in this book. It’s not a big part, but that didn’t stop me from squealing. I’m not above squealing. While Harper and James are separated a good portion of the book, I had to wonder if this book would have any sex. Have no fear! There is some, if you wanted it. But there is a bit of author trickery in it all that had me yelling at my kindle. I’m not sure why I always fall for this, but take a deep breath like I did. Everything will be ok.“We met years ago. We drifted apart to become these two people. And now we’re back together. One soul, cut in half, reunited.”The story culminates with an evening to celebrate “the promise” and a lot goes down. It’s pretty violent. Note to self: don’t hang out at a party with assassins in the mix. That can never end well. This book closes some doors on some stories. Harper and James’ story is over. But we’ll hear more from Merc soon, and, AND, we get at least one book about Sasha and Nick. *happy dance*With this series, the author has taken us on a wild ride. Where no one can be trusted and everyone has motives to turn on one another. But love still finds a way.

a trips down imagination road review
Title: Coming For YouSeries: Dirty Dark & Deadly (#3)Author: JA HussFrom: AmazonGenre: Romance, SuspenseRelease Date: 19th November 2014Challenges: 2016 Read the Books You Buy, 2016 Prequel & Sequel Challenge (12 points)Links: Goodreads - Amazon*My contain spoilers for the previous books in the series*With James and Sasha presumed dead, Harper's father proceeds with his original plan, and with the original man he promised Harper to. But even though Harper thinks James killed Sasha, and knows he's done atrocities, she can't help but want him to come for her and to save her. James won't let something as small as an attempt on his life stop him from getting Harper back, but more than that, he wants to free all the Company children...The ending! (And yes I am starting backwards on this one!) I wasn't expecting certain characters to make an appearance and I tell you it had me welling up! The other consequence of the ending was me really wanting to read Sasha's book (Wasted Lust) straight away...though I'm doing things right and going for Meet Me in the Dark next!I love that there is no real way of telling who is good and who is bad in this series. All of the characters have done things that could be considered evil, and yet some of them are working towards good outcomes. But that doesn't stop them being likeable in the slightest. Despite what they've done, you find yourself routing for Harper and James to make it back together, and for them to suceed!Sasha! Oh my goodness Sasha! I liked her before, and now...well who doesn't like a kick a** 13 year old! I am a little confused over her past relationship with Nick (Harper's twin) and where that will go in the future, but I'm content to find out when I get to Wasted Lust. It was easy to forget at times that Sasha was just 13, but then she'd do (or think) something that reminded the reader. The POV switches worked really well. There were three (not including the ending where there was another one added in briefly); James, Harper and Sasha. There was only one point, near the end, where all three of them knew everything, and so switching between the three of them really helped keep the suspense going and moving the story along.I still can't believe I was unsure about Come in the beginning, especially as this book ended the series on such a strong note. Definitely worth a read!

Loved it!!
I never felt so many conflicting emotions when reading a book to name a few.....I felt angry, confused, happy, sad but most of all frustrated right until the end, I was even making my own map In Work too try and see who was doing what it caught me hook line and sinker. There are some things I'm thinking about in regards to certain aspects of the book, but I am so glad that it wasn't a cliff hanger as such because I think I would have lost my mind. Now that I have read all three i can go back to sleeping in normal hours, because this book prevented me from a sleeping pattern for one reason only, I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN.

Fantastic
Wow, what a rollercoaster of a series so many twists and turns!! James, Harper & Sasha are brought together – so many secrets, who can they trust, can they even trust each other, what’s their end game? Loved the plot & the characters, Sasha is fantastic so happy she’ got her own book - Wasted Lust. Haven’t read the Rook & Ronin, Ford or Spencer books but having been introduced to them briefly at the end of Coming for you I plan to go back and read them before both Mercs and Sasha’s books.
