A MUST for Rosacea sufferers!
I have suffered from Rosacea for about 2 years now. Most recently, it has turned into acne rosacea. Unfortunately, I have tried oral antibiotics, prescription creams, over the counter creams, etc. with no results. After a horrible flare up that was requiring me to cover my face in green makeup to mask the redness, I decided to try rose water. I like the fact that this product is 100% distilled rose water. No other chemicals or ingredients. My face is ultra sensitive and EVERYTHING causes inflammation. I wasn't sure how I was going to react to this product. I am pleased to say that after only using one day the redness decrease by about 40%. The acne began to dry up, but my skin did not! Day two and I am at a 60% improvement in redness and acne is almost completely gone!!! I LOVE this product! My skin is soft and cool after using. I spray a few times and let my face "air dry" before applying make up. I HIGHLY recommend this product for anyone suffering with Rosacea. Oh, the scent is light and dissipates after product dries.

Perfect for anyone experiencing breakouts, irritation, dryness or excessive oiliness & more
If you experience acne, even minimally, deal with eczema, dryness, excessive oiliness, rosacea or herbal facial redness or numerous other facial concerns, you should be using a toner. So many women & men think a toner's job is to cleanse, to remove excess makeup, sweat, oil, etc that a cleanser missed, & while yes, it can be used that way, if you are truly cleansing your skin correctly that should not be necessary. I'm not a dermatologist, but I am a licensed esthetician in FL with extra medical esthetics training. A toner's true job is to rebalance skin, to reestablish a healthy pH level (between 4.5-5.5, which is slightly acidic) after cleansing. Almost all cleansers on the market today are basic, meaning their pH's are too high for our facial skin. Because they have a pH of 8+ in many cases, (great pH balanced cleansers do exist on the market around you just have to find them) they break down our skin's natural protection, our acid mantle, also often called the moiture barrier. It is a makeup of sweat & lipids (omegas, ceramides & cholesterol) that protect our skin from moiture loss, external pollution, stripping ingredients in skincare & spf & so many other things. When our acid mantle is damaged we experience overly dry, sometimes flaky, skin, breakouts, irritation & redness, burning when you apply products, excessive oiliness when our skin tries to protect itself again & even eczema & rosacea. All these things can be helped or even prevented with a good toner (you should also look for pH balanced skincare & stay away from bad ingredients, but for now a toner is way this review is for lol). Now, finding a good toner, 1 that is pH balanced, alcohol-free, paraben free, doesn't contain too astringents, & has beneficial ingredients is a while other challenge. Because toners were marketed for so long to consumers as astringents, to make sure your skin was squeaky clean, most on the market had\have high alcohol contents. You can find many that are alcohol-free out there now, which is great. They also contain witch hazel (could also be salicylic acid, same source), tea tree, glycolic acid, lactic acid, etc. Those can be great for some ppl. They all have a good purpose & can be great for skin, but if you want those ingredients, get them in serums, creams, ampules, etc. If you apply them in a toner, & you have not balanced the pH of your skin, then they can often cause more harm that good. Toners shouldn't burn, it shouldn't sting, but how many of us have used a toner & experienced just that & thought, "Oh, it's working, it's supposed to do that." If your toner is pH balanced, & your skin can handle active ingredients well, you can use a toner with acids, or another exfoliant, but it has to be pH balanced. It should be rebalancing your acid mantle so you never feel a burn or sting. This brings me to the Rose Water. I have dealt with hormonal breakouts/ adult acne since my early 20s. Our skin slows the production of ceramides starting in our 20s! That means your skin cannot handle the things you did to it at 16, 18 or 20. I discovered this the hard way. Again, ceramides help make up our acid mantle, as production slows our skin becomes more sensitive. I was finding the things I did to control my minor skin issues in my teens & early 20s was not working anymore, it was making things worse. I dealt with my breakouts in so many diff ways. I tried everything & I do mean EVERYTHING. I used drugstore products, natural products, topically & internally, Derm. visits. The reason I originally went to school to be an esthetician was to help my own skin. I had read everything out there in the yrs prior to school. I knew more than my instructor! I now use my training to help anyone else dealing with skin problems because I know how debilitating they can be. I found in my case, I have a hormonal imbalace that causes my breakouts & hormonal migraines every month. With adjustments to my skincare, diet, lifestyle & supplements, I stay pretty clear. I don't like encouraging spironolactone or birth control for female adult acne cause as soon as you stop, it's back. You never solve the true issue. I dealt a damaged moisture barrier over & over, but until I did my research & went to school I never knew that was what I was dealing with. Often ppl damage their moisture barrier with cleansers to basic, yes, but also with strong topicals, BP, salicylic acid, retinoids like tretinoin (which i still use), used to treat acne. I was using all these things for a time. These topicals can help heal active breakouts & should prevent future breakouts, but if they are just stripping your skin, drying & irritating, the ingredients you use to treat your acne could actually be the contributing factor to more breakouts next week. I know I need a toner. I need a healthy acid mantle. If I test a new product, a mask or a new peel, etc. & it happens to be formulated poorly or just not for my skin & damages my barrier, breakouts. I can tell right away that it's happened & know those breakouts are right around the corner. You and mantle, along with moisture retention, keeps the bacteria that cause inflammatory reactions, those swollen pimples, from multiplying in your pores. In makes the environment inhospitable to them. If you do experience breakouts & you have a healthy acid mantle, they will just be small whiteheads & blackheads caused by the build up of oil & dead skin cells. The bacteria is what causes the sore, inflammed, red spots. Keep the bacteria out & you won't get those.I've tried so many toners. Tons. I've good 1s that do their job well, but the best toner I've ever used is plain old Rose Water. This 1 is my favorite. It is pH balanced, so it reestablishs the perfect pH on your skin's surface. It's gentle & natural, has no harsh chemicals. There are no parabens, dyes, & no added fragrance...the fragrance is built right in. Rose water is also slightly astringent, so if you do like using a toner to ensure your skin is clean, this is perfect. I love to spray it right on my skin & tap in, but a cotton pad would work just as well. While I did already have my skin's issues under control, since switching to pure rose water as my toner I've had almost no dryness, only a few spots around that time on month & my skin just glows. A damaged avid mantle will make your skin look dull & blotchy. If you have struggled to find a good toner, if you have skin issues you cannot solve, if you do not use a toner now, if you deal with any of the things I mentioned above, TRY this! I will use Rose Water on my skin for the rest of my life. I have access as an esthetician to basically any high end spa skincare line I want, I would still choose this over any of their toners. It's naturally perfectly pH balanced for our skin. Like God made it just for that purpose. This is my 2nd bottle & the bottles last me 1.5-2 mos. I would assume is would last most ppl 3 mos, I tend to use it a lot. I spray my skin periodically throughout the day, as a settling spray over makeup & of course after cleansing day & night. I have my skincare routine set & I rarely mess with it, I know what works for my skin. I knew a bit about Rose water when I was looking for a new facial spray, but never expected it to replace my toner. Now, I will never go back. It truly can change your skin & I can only imagine how beneficial it could be to someone not using a toner now, using a alcohol based toner, or someone with a very damaged acid mantle. If you took the time to read all of this, Thanks lol & now go buy a bottle. I love my field & helping anyone with skin issues, so I could write 3 nore paragraphs...i won't haha, but i could. There are so many benefits to keeping your acid mantle/ moisture barrier healthy & organic Rose Water is def 1 of the best ways to do that.

Rosacea? This stuff WORKS
I never leave reviews, but had to recommend this product. Let me first say, I'm not getting anything free, or even a discount. This is a totally honest and unbiased review. I ordered this for my husband who has significant rosacea on his cheeks. He has been on an antibiotic plus some type of prescription cream for over a year now. If he would forget to use the cream one day, it would come back full force after a run or some coffee. This rose water has been pretty amazing. It took away the bumps and the redness in the first day. We thought it was some kind of fluke, but he's been using it for about two weeks now with the same success. He even ran a 10K last Saturday and his face didn't flare up afterwards like it normally does. He uses it twice a day, morning and night. He has stopped using the prescription cream and antibiotic which is awesome (who needs those chemicals?) It's almost like this little spray is curing the rosacea. Hopefully you never stop selling this product! Sincere thanks!

Irritation
The product comes with a spray which is convenient. However, after leaving it on for a bit, my skin felt dry and uncomfortable. I was really hoping this would be an item I could easily bring out with me to help calm my rosacea down.
