easy to setup
I bought it for a gift to my kid. Extremely easy to set up, easy to manipulate the settings. In a somewhat dark room I projected against a white wall and it looked really good, probably good enough to watch movies. It’s easy to connect with my phone. Just connect my phone and my projector to the same wifi, I could mirror my phone’s movie to the projector’s screen. Big screen entertainment. And it can also use the HDMI. I also streamed Netflix and used it as a giant screen for my laptop - with no hassle. I even Synced my Bluetooth speaker while I was watching, which made for a great Friday-Cinema night! It was easy to focus and set the ratio on, and co-ordinating the imput options was not tricky either. A great purchase!

Worked Great for Less than a Week, then Died; Limited Support from Ocean Tech
UPDATE: In contacted Amazon about this product since I missed the return date AFTER traveling with this device. Amazon said the supplier, Ocean-Tech, was pretty responsive. They were at first. I sent them all the information they asked for in early August 2019. They said their engineers would review the problem and get back to me. It's mid-September and I haven't heard a thing since. So I still have a $200 device that can't play media from a USB port (which it originally did). I can hook up a computer via HDMI and play from the computer, but that sort of misses the whole point of being able to travel with just a USB hard drive and a projector for showing media. I would not recommend this device if you want to play movies or mp4 media from a USB based hard drive. It may stop working like mine did.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I would absolutely love this product...if it didn't fail. It does a lot of cool things...automatic keystone adjustment, really nice brightness, fairly easy navigation. But after using it for less than a week on a trip in Canada, the thing just froze up. I changed the batteries in the remote, still nothing. I reset the device to factory defaults, and still nothing. Sometimes it would recognize the attached media; sometimes not at all. It had been playing movies with great clarity for three evenings (just one movie, did not overdo it). Then one night, it just froze. Period. NOTHING would move. I could not turn it off. I could not get back to the home screen. The movie froze on one frame. Boom, nothing worked. I got it up and running again by resetting the factory defaults and then it failed to recognize any attached media via USB. Finally I got it to recognize the media files, but then it would play about 10 minutes' worth and then it froze again. What a disappointment. Seriously, I thought this product was GREAT, but it just stopped working.

If all you want is a picture
I am a Cub Scout pack leader and bought this to have outdoor movies with the kids First off the project picture quality is amazing very impressive however if you want any sound get something else. I seen the reviews that said the speakers are awful but I figured I would just hook up a portable and solve that. The JBL I have was max volume and still could not here anything plugged directly in the line out. I have reached out to the company several times with no response. Unfortunately I did not have the time to test it before my return window closed but I did get it on sale for $100. If I had paid full pop I would be extremely mad. So for what it’s worth if you are going to use with something like a PlayStation, Nintendo’s switch, Xbox it’s perfect as long as you run a sound bar thru the console and not the projector, if you want to use this for camping and watching a movie hope you can read lips or have CC because you aren’t hearing anything.

A must have for camping and on the go.
The media could not be loaded. I got the elephas Because I wanted something portable When I go to a friends house. The idea was to have something portable, where I could play my Nintendo switch with friends and family or if we wanted to watch a movies. Let me start off by saying this thing is great for $170 bucks and have a tv like screen up to a 100 inches you can’t go wrong. Picture quality is very good for the size of this Device. The fact that it’s rechargeable is a definite plus as well. I don’t have much use for the USB port, but that is grate to have. It’s grate that there is a micro usb for charging so you can hook it up to a power bank and always have power. There’s only one problem and that can be a big problem, is that there are no menu buttons on the device. If you lose the remote or brake it then there is no way to control the projector. There is no auto detection for HDMI input, you need the remote to switch back and forth. I love the fact that it comes with everything you need, case, stand, charger and power adapter. Other then that it’s a grate little project and I am happy with it.

This is the second unit I’m returning - it’s clearly a defective product. The light part of the projector will not stay on - whether it’s running off of a fully charged battery or plugged in. The internals of the projector keep running, but it doesn’t project.I thought I got a defective unit with my first purchase. The second one is the same - garbage. I’m just glad I realized this before it was too late to get a refund.Good luck with this purchase.

This projector arrived very quickly and is very small. Once I plugged it in I was very pleased with the quality!To be completely honest I wasn't expecting it to be so great for the price, but it did blow me away a bit.It can display a very large image at a very high quality making it completely acceptable to watch films on and also play games.It has 2 USB drives, a HDMI Input, a VGA Port, AV, and an SD Card input, which makes it very versatile whether you want to plug in a games console from the HDMI, watch a film from a USB drive, or show family vacation pictures from your SD card.In the box it even includes a HDMI cable, as well as a power adapter, a remote and a screw to angle the projector.This projector should be used in very dark rooms for best results.It's very light and portable though, and you could easily just take it in your bag to your friends house no problem.
