Ok, I should've read the "fine print" and Prop 65 warning label before drinking this stuff for 2 months. I would have never exposed my body to it. According to its own label and the description it contains LEAD, yes LEAD and chromium that may cause cancer. I couldn't believe an organic named product would have this in it. Buyer beware. I'm not buying it anymore.If you are ok with it, IMO the taste isn't that bad as other have. I think it depends on the amount of water mixed in. I did feel fuller on it, but it is no way worth it now im aware whats going into my body.

Healthy meal replacement. I have purchased three in the last month. I have a scoop with water in my shaker bottle for breakfast. It keeps me satisfied until lunch. It is important for your first meal of the day to be nutritionally rich, and this certainly fits the bill. I follow a Low FODMAP plan which recommends probiotics and fiber so the 10 grams of fiber, 20 grams of protein and 10 billion probiotics get me started on the right foot.ProsNutritional content, 10 grams of fiber, 20 grams of protein and 10 billion probiotics.Neutral/unobjectionable flavor.ConsThe container is one third full. This is wasteful and not environmentally friendly.Lid not marked for recycle.The container size to the proportion of product is ridiculous. The container is about 1/3 full. I am pretty sure the contents of three containers would fit on one. I will say that the size is somewhat useful in that the supplement is very fine and the powder suspends in the air quite easily, so the oversized container does capture the dust though I doubt that was their reasoning.

LOVE this shake mix! Bought a single packet locally to try it and then was hooked. Amazon is considerably cheaper than my local store but higher than other online retailers. I mix the shake with 1/2 cup light almond milk and 1/2 cup chocolate cashew milk and include a couple tablespoons of Hemp Hearts. Yes, this adds to the calories and stuff, but if you're really using it as a meal replacement shake like I do, it helps keep you fuller longer. I can't do these shakes with just water. The ingredients are top notch and I like that there is no aspartame. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the price. When compared to other similar shakes, they're a little pricey and the package can be a bit deceptive. I've seen others comment on this on various sites, so I hope Renewal Life will take this into consideration. Also, the vanilla flavor is horrible so unless you just hate chocolate, stay away from the vanilla.

I've been drinking the Skinny Gut Ultimate Shake for nearly two years now. I drink it at least every other day. This is a miracle product for me and don't want to have to live without it. I have Lupus therefore my immune system does not work as it should. In addition, all my life I have had terrible constipation. Since adding this shake to my routine, I have been regular and for a year, haven't had so much as a cold, let alone the flu, and no bloating. I'm not sure if I can 100% credit Skinny Gut with the fact that I have been able to be free of the medication I took for Lupus for over a year now, but I strongly believe that the immunity support has aided in that tremendously.Fortunately, I do not get the terrible gas pains from this shake that some experience. In fact, I notice that if I have gone off the shake for a few days (like while on vacation where I don't lug my mixer around) and I get gas pains from food, this shake helps move things along.I mix with unsweetened almond milk and use a little bullet mixer and it's perfect consistency every time. No lumps, no nasty flavor like other protein shakes. It's the only protein shake I will ever drink.Lastly, I am 9 months pregnant and both my OB and High Risk Doctors have ok'd the use of the shake. I have experienced pregnancy induced constipation, but added prunes to my daily routine, so the two together are exactly what I need to remain comfortable. With pregnancy, lupus, and reduced immunity, I have to credit this shake with keeping me cold/flu free!

Okay, hear me out. This shake tastes like chalky friggin' garbage. Seriously. I used to mix it with unsweetened almond milk, but I realized I can save myself those few calories and just mix the shake with water because they both taste like varying degrees of lightly vanilla-flavored crap.But I don't care at all how it tastes, because it makes me FEEL so good. Not even thirty minutes after finishing the shake (I chug half, take a break cos gross, then chug the other half maybe fifteen minutes later), my body just perks up. I feel satiated, but not full. And it curbs hunger, which is an added bonus for someone on a highly restricted caloric diet (so hungry, send help). Oh, and it has helped my gut so much already. Much less cramping and pain associated with my IBS.I bought this pack to try for the first time and just purchased the larger cannister in chocolate flavor with the (likely misguided) hope that it tastes a little better. But, honestly, it can taste worse and I'm going to finish it because of how good it makes me feel. If you can get over a few quick seconds of unpleasant taste, you're doing your body a world of good.

I am in agreement with the prior reviews. I got the vanilla and it tastes pretty good and the nutrients are exactly what I wanted. However, I have to give this company a BIG ding for being so environmentally unfriendly. They use a huge container and fill it less than half way. You only get 10 servings and they are purposefully deceptive with the packaging. I expected this based on the prior reviews but all that plastic is really unnecessary and deceptive. Price per a serving is high compared to other shakes.
