I bought this filter for my 14'x48" Bestway pool and It was the best decision I ever made. Great suction, great value for your money, and performs amazing! It's very easy to clean, and my water has never been more clear! Last year we had such a hard time keeping the water in our pool from getting cloudy, or green. It was the most frustrating thing and by the end of the year I had given up on it. I wanted a filter that was going to more than do the job And I'm very happy with my new sand filter! I use filter balls and everything has been so smooth! I have only added chlorine and shock and the water has remained crystal clear. It has a great flow compared to my last filter. I will say that the instructions are not very clear I'm putting it together, but YouTube helped with that and the assembly was actually fairly easy. This was a great buy and is a great quality pump!

Bought this last summer. Initially it worked great. crystal clear water, powerful return like a hot tub jet. But hoses seemed to get leaks often. It’s best to have back up hoses in storage. The hose from the filter to the motor developed a leak just a few months after getting it. The water dripped down the hose and onto the motor housing. Woke up one morning and noticed the pump had not run all day. Pressed the power button to turn it on and it shut off as soon as it turned on. We took the motor apart and everything appeared fine. Can’t figure out what happened. Very upsetting as it’s now almost summer again and we do t have a working pump and i don’t want to spend over $100 on a new motor! if these things are meant to be outside in rain and pool water being splashed, why did my motor short out? very upset!

The set up took about an hour. It was a little frustrating to not have connection instructions, that was kind of a guessing game where tubes went. I believe it’s because being a universal pump, different pools have different inlet and outlets. We have two holes for pumps, where some have only one. There seems to be a lot of power to this pump and the water is definitely moving well. I think it’s neat that it has the timer function so we can set it to start and stop so that it does not need to run continuously like our old pump. This is only day one so I cannot comment on durability until we’ve run it a season, or at least for a few weeks. We have a skimmer attached and that seems to be working well with the pump. We opted to use sand, but I believe you can use filter balls. We have an 18 foot easy set pool and this seems to filter the water sufficiently..

Excellent!!! We have a5,000 gallon pool with terrible well water (very heavy iron) we tried everything but after just few hrs our pool was crystal clear with this filter. Amazing for real! I’d highly recommend it

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very good price. Was hard to follow instructions to set up but found a video online. Very quiet. Have had it running for 2 days and already can tell a difference in my pool!

Everything I thought it would be , arrived really fast

We've used it for one month and it is no longer working. Return window closed one week ago but that is not acceptable. I will be in contact for a refund.

The multiport valve failed after 1 season (5 months) of use. Quality is very poor and most components aren't serviceable. The price is low but you get what you pay for.

Not 3/4hp pump. I chose this unit over others advertised because it had the bigger motor. It seems to work well for now after getting everything tightened up. The valve seems to have a steady drip from waste port and wont stop. The pressure gauge is also dripping, and not from lack of thread installed which was included (nice). All in all its ok, keep in mind its only been running for a day though. Im going to be sad if the motor dies. After reading all the reviews, that seems to be the common problem, and people are reporting that warranty is non existent. Also you will need to google how to put it together cuz the instructions are really lacking. Fingers crossed. Ill update later if something happens.
