Simple to use. Really good value for money compared to the heavy weights that are expensive. Only thing to keep in mind is you have to have on hand atleast 50kg sands of bag lying around. We had some left over sand bags from some recent construction at home. Otherwise you will have to but the sand separately.As can be seen in the picture, we have some sand left over which we have just leaned against the parasol stand.The weight has held our big 3meter parasol in windy weather as well. So 5 stars from me.

Needed an umbrella base but couldn't imagine lugging a heavy one from the shops let alone around my garden. This is a good solution for anyone without a heavy helper nearby. You can fill it up to use it and empty when you need to move it or store it over winter. The bag is pretty heavy duty so I see it lasting a while.

What more can I say other than it does the job a lot better than a couple of precariously placed 1/2 sized paving slabs we used to use to hold the parasol in place and doesn't look an eyesore either.Took almost a bag of sand which cost us a few quid from the DIY store. No noticeable weaknesses from the first couple of uses so doing its job when in situ. Not had the need to move it yet whilst full of sand so will know more if it is fully up to the job of being moved about and stored with the sand in it but so far seemingly looks like all will be well.

Picture online made item look very neat and would evenly sit around parasol (,we brought two and sill looked unsightly) , plus sand could easily be poured in . Neither of these statements are true !The Velcro flap also allows sand to leak and when trying to reposition it the flap tore so sand just pours out

Had nearly a year put away for winter just got it out yesterday and put on floor ready for using and it split maybe should empty all the sand out and refill it but definitely needs stronger stitching 2 🌟 because it did the job

Ordered on 2nd May and a tear has appeared on item. I am very disappointed. I would have expected this to last more than 2 months. Unfortunately cannot return as out of date by one day. Very poor quality. Need new one to fill up with sand before sending faulty one back. I have a very good track record with Amazon with very few returns.

Support garden umbrella not good as difficult to fix to pole. Heavyweight fabric but difficult to fill & larger than expected. Will replace with easier to use alternative.
