Have it on my .308 and it beats any other a1/2 style stock I’ve had on my rifles. Super comfortable to shoulder perfect length of pull for myself “a1 length”. Button is super tight for the compartment in the stock but that’s a plus as it has zero rattle. Great stock for any one looking to upgrade there A1 style stock

Like selling boots without laces
The stock is excellent quality and installs easily. My complaint is that the QD sockets must be purchased separately and are absurdly expensive. Not good enough Magpul. You can do better.

This stock is fantastic compared to my original. Nice curve in the shoulder makes it fit better.Only negative is it would have been nice for the holes on the back underside to have been an MLOK cutout instead of oddly spaced holes.

Not so Retro Look for a Retro Build
I've wanted an A2 style fixed-stock build for long time. Of the options I considered, Magpul once again remained at the top. There is a rear door to hide Skittles, batteries, or a cleaning kit (not enough room for candy and cleaning kit unfortunately). It installed without any trouble and looks great (especially after using Rit Dye to change it from gray to black).I have seen some complaints about the lack of QD sling mounts, which the description kind of alludes to with less than stellar wording, but it does not. Those have to be purchased separately and Magpul sells three variants. This stock uses the Type-1 sling mount for those needing to add a QD mount.
