Best non-binding knee high compression stockings!
These are the only compression knee highs I've found that do not bind at the top of the stocking. There is no elastic band at the top, the entire stocking is a heavier knit fabric that form fits to your leg. Note, pay attention to the size chart which uses a calf measurement. I take an XL in these where others are a L. Also note these are not opaque - these are solid stockings. My husband teases me that I look like a colonial with them on, but I don't care, they're comfortable and they work well. If you have sensitive arches the edge binding on the part that goes under your foot could cause irritation. This only bothers me if I'm wearing my arch supports - probably because it makes the shoe fit tighter overall. For this reason I would be interested if they offered this same material in an open toe style (not toe & heel). I tried the Futuro open toe knee highs, but the material was like pantyhose and had an elastic band at the top which cuts off my circulation. Bottom line - they were not as comfortable as these.

Best Support Stockings I Have Ever Owned!
A little pricy for just one stocking but they are the best support stockings I have ever owned and believe me I have tried them all! Made of Polyester, Dry Natural Rubber, Rayon, Latex Rubber, & Nylon. A bit of a challenge getting them on but worth the effort. I wish they made more colors of this same stocking I.e.; suntan, brown, black, navy, and white. I would love to wear these with dress pants. Also I wish they made this stocking (same material blend) with just open toe, in total coverage, and thigh high. The other support stockings that do come in just open toes or different colors don’t have the same material blend and the sizing changes. Sizing can be a challenge for me because I am diabetic and because of the swelling in my feet and calf’s change almost daily, I had to buy a couple of pairs of each each size and measure every day to determine what size I should wear that day. And some days one calf could be more swollen than the other so I have the option of wearing the bigger size on the calf that is most swollen. Living in Florida, because of the material blend, I was a bit concerned about the heat and breathability but have had no issues. They are very soft and comfortable. I recommend only hand washing with a mild detergent, no fabric softener, and only air drying. These stockings almost never go on sale in the stores and finding two of the same size in a store has been a challenge. It would sure help if the company mailed out coupons or Amazon notified you when they went on sale. I am very pleased with this seller because shipping was extremely fast! I will probably be back to buy more of the same. And I may try other 3M Futuro men’s/unisex stockings even though they might not be made of the same material composition. Recommendation try for yourself. I am sure you won’t be disappointed!

Work good for me.
I like these open toe and heal support socks because they offer support without squishing my toes (especially my baby toe) as much as the support socks with closed toes. They are also easier for me to put on and take off. My baby toe was constantly hurting and I thought it was the shoes I was wearing but found out it was really the closed-toe support socks which were squishing it. The only slight drawbacks that I can see are the fact that they only come in one color (that I am aware of) and that they are not quite as firm in their support as the same brand and size of support socks with the closed toe and heel. I'm using the medium size (which should be plenty tight enough for me since I normally use medium or large socks) and they are almost not tight enough for me. I didn't see any small size of these with open toes/heels and don't even know if they make them but they would probably be too small for someone like me who normally uses medium to large. I'm also a little disappointed that each package only comes with a single sock. Still, overall I think they are barely firm enough to do the job and my baby toe feels much better with these open-toe socks. For me this is the best option I have found for my swollen leg and foot without hurting my baby toe. Needless to say when wearing these open toe and heel socks with shoes it seems prudent to wear some regular (non-compressing) soft socks under them to protect your toes from rubbing against the shoes.

Less effective than their other socks
These are very heavy weight fabric but considerably larger than their normal open toe closed heel socks. Because they are so big, they were not tight enough. My calves are 14 inches. I think they might work on 16-18 inch calves.

I won’t buy any other socks for compression. These are the best!
I’ve been wearing compression socks for 20 years, and these are by far the best ones. Others cut into the back of your knee or don’t “breathe” so you end up with stinky feet. The open toe and heel make them more adjustable and comfortable to wear. I won’t wear anything else.
