Undersized Scooper - Great Gainer
Great mass gainer, the best bang for your buck option out there. The wife loves it... but beware the scoop it comes with is not a full serving size (165g). Our average scoop (leveled) is about 120g and our heaping scoops (literally spilling out) were around 145g. So realistically you're sitting around 75%-88% of a serving person scoop which is roughly 80-175 calories less than expected and 7-15g less of protein.. might be marginal for some, but for my 110 lb wife, these margins are significant enough to skew her tracking data.Still a our preferred gainer, but will definitely need to adjust our input data or choose a new scooper. Jsyk.

Good stuff, not worth the price. (Just get Gold Standard Whey)
Don’t get me wrong this stuff is great. Tastes great, good protein, good calories, etc… however if you’re on a bulk or just need the calories, you get more grams of protein per dollar with their Gold Standard Whey and then just blend in calorie dense foods, oats, etc into your protein shakes for the calories. You can tailor to your macros better that way anyways!

ON Gainer Helped Turn My Life Around
This product may have been almost a life saver for me. I have been using it for 10 years. I became seriously ill about a decade ago and was losing weight for unknown reasons. I am 5'10" and used to weigh in the mid 160s prior to my illness. Finally after dropping to the upper 120s my doctor recommended that I try drinking gainer shakes though he didn't mention this product in particular. I happened to mention my weight loss dilemma to my brother-in-law who pointed me to this product. So glad that he did. I started out drinking two servings per day and usually add a scoop of ice cream to it in the blender. It tastes fine to me with plain water but the ice cream makes the drink pleasingly colder. Anyhow, this put a stop to my nose diving weight and gradually pushed me into the low 130s which helped me feel some relief about my condition. About a year later I joined a gym and started working out with weights 3 times a week at least an hour each time, plus did some weight lifting at home in between. Slowly, slowly my weight raised into a more respectable mid 140s after about a year of weight lifting exercices plus this product 2X a day. Roughly 3 years later with my weight seemingly stuck in the 140s I decided to reduce it to one serving a day. I always monitor my weight and it remained basically the same. About a year ago I reduced use of this to a half serving, 6 days a week. I continue to work out at the gym and at home like usual. My upper body strength has increased especially my arms/biceps/triceps and pec muscles even at the reduced half serving of gainer plus my usual scoop of ice cream in the blender. I am happy to say my weight over the last 6 months has been lifted to almost the same level as I had prior to my illness. I am currently bumping up on the 160 lbs mark. So I have been using this for 10 years straight now plus going at my weight lifting for nearly that long a time. When I look in the mirror I grin at the results I have had over this LONG period of time. But I give a lot of credit to this gainer product and my doctors who initially encouraged me to use something like this many years back. I tend to drink mine now in the mid afternoon after my gym or home workouts and in between lunch and dinner. It does sometimes take away my appetite a bit if I drink it too close to dinner, especially back in the beginning when I was drinking two servings a day. Now at half a serving the appetite loss is much less of a problem. Will I ever stop using this altogether? Maybe, but not just yet. I do think there is a correlation between using this after a workout and building your muscle tissue so I may eternally use this at half strength based just on that. By the way, adding a scoop of ice cream to it in the blender not only makes it tastier and creamier but also adds some extra calories and calcium (I believe). The double chocolate is my favorite and adding some mint ice cream is wonderfully tasty. I think overall this product tastes great, even those times that I simply use plain water without anything more.

Optimum Nutrition Gainer vs. Critical Mass: My Take
I’ve used Optimum Nutrition Gainer for a while, and it’s decent — it mixes well, tastes good, and delivers solid calories and protein for bulking. However, after trying Critical Mass, I have to say I’m switching sides.Critical Mass feels like a more complete package. The calorie-to-protein ratio is better, and it has more complex carbs that don’t leave me feeling heavy or bloated. Plus, the flavors are richer, and it’s not overly sweet like some other gainers, including ON.While ON Gainer is good for beginners, Critical Mass feels like the smarter choice for anyone looking for efficient gains without the crash or sugar overload. It’s just better suited to my needs and goals.
