BEST pet comb ever!! LOVE LOVE LOVE
This is hands down, the best pet grooming comb! I have 2 long haired persian cats and 2 shih tzu puppies. Grooming them requires a LOT of work. I now save so much time combing my fur babies with much less effort. I have all kinds of combs, flea combs, wide tooth combs, slicker brushes also, small/medium/large, with/without silicone tips, and they are all just OK. I also have the Furminator deshedding tool, which I think is too harsh on my cats hair, ripping out a lot of it and irritating my cats. This comb is great at dematting and removing loose hair while at the same time being very gentle and also making the hair/coat look super fluffy and supple (so works like a comb and brush in one), without roughly snagging and pulling the hair. It has a very gentle and smooth glide, but yet super efficient, not pulling/removing too much hair, but just the necessary amount that's loose. It's also quicker to groom compared to other combs and brushes I've had. And my cats don't seem to mind it as much as my other combs/brushes. Was hesitant about getting another comb as I already have too many but saw something similar on Instagram and gave it try. LOVE IT! There are a few Chinese versions of this brush but I decided to go with this brand name as I like and already have their slicker brush.

I've bought every cat brush on Amazon. Buy this one for all cats.
The only comb you need. I have bought just about every style brush/comb for cats on Amazon that you can buy. The Hertz Fur Fetcher and this comb is all you need. The Hertz Fur Fetcher is great for weekly use and removing undercoat fast. My cats don't hate it but they find this comb a lot less annoying. It is very effective for short and long hair cats as all the other brushes only work for short hair and honestly this comb catches more hair and leaves your cat's looking coat looking much better.

Best deshedding tool
Wow my cat wishes I bought this 13 years ago. Works better than the shredinator. I always wash and comb my cat myself and I have several different combs and brushes but none that work as well as this. This pile of fur is from one deshedding session with the new comb.

Wish the teeth were just a bit longer, otherwise, very good
I've been owned by two beautiful long-haired cats in twenty years, one a Chinchilla (i.e., the Fancy Feast cat's breed) & the other a purebred Maine Coon. Both cats required extensive combing, so I know my cat combs (I've owned five or six in my lifetime, and I have to say, I think this is overall the best). My first cat had to be combed daily, and had very fine but plentiful fur. He was a former show cat, before I bought him, so he was used to combing. My Maine Coon & current pet, on the other hand, has a silky but dense three-layer coat which sheds heavily in the springtime. She loves brushing, but hates combing. However, it has to be done once a week, or she'll get hairballs, and with my beige non-Stainmaster carpet, that's definitely no fun. Her undercoat alone is off the charts. She is thirty pounds & has more fur on her tail than some kinds of cats have over their whole bodies. Being so big because of the breed she is, possessing twenty sharp claws & a finely-honed set of four fangs expert at delivering a fatal bite to the jugular, my beloved cat is...ahem...a handful. I needed a lightweight but firm comb with good teeth in it. The last comb I had, previously used on my Chinchilla for years, my cat's fur literally laughed at, breaking two of the metal teeth off upon first usage. Not so with this comb- with it's long & short metal teeth intersperced closely together, it works great on dense Maine Coon furriness. My cat's fur is so long & thick that I wish all of the teeth were a little bit longer, just because the comb fills up SO fast with her fur. Because the teeth of the comb are so close together, it takes a little work to pull this baby bear's fur out of the comb each time it's full (which would be often). The comb works well, because each time I use it, I have enough excess fur each week to stuff a pillow sham with, line a pair of slippers & make a fur stole. The wooden handle is fairly ergonomic, and very well-made. The price is great for the quality- I couldn't find anything at the pet stores around here that even came close, and they were all pricey. Amazon came through again! The teeth aren't bendable, and are very well-made. I like that the comb is fairly lightweight & easy-to-grip, as my arthritic hands get tired fairly fast, and I've got to contain my furball with my own death grip as I'm combing with the other hand at all times. Be prepared to get a LOT of fur off of your pet with this serious comb.

Great product! My cat loves it
Great brush for my cat! It is sharp but my cat loves it and it gets a bunch of fur. The best part is that all the fur stays together when you get it off the brush.

Works really well!
I've had cats most of my life but when a fuzzy orange kitten wandered into our life and turned into a beautiful, long-haired ball of floof, I didn't know exactly what to do with her coat! I've never had a long-haired kitty before. I had a couple other brushes on hand for my two short-haired cats, but neither really seemed to work well for her long, silky coat. (One was just a bristle brush and didn't remove anything; the other was a round head brush that got *some* fur but mainly just annoyed her.) I googled "best brush for long haired cats" and this comb came up.It does a really good job getting in the various layers of my long haired cat. Removed a nice amount of hair but not too much the way something like a Furminator can do. I like the dual layer size of the comb's teeth and the fur stays nicely in place against the edge so you can easily remove it in one clump instead of it just flying everywhere. The long-haired cat is still young (10 months) and not a huge fan of the combing process. She tries to squirm and bite it. But I got a lot better results faster with this versus other brushes I've tried. And I think quick is probably best given her lack of patience.I did try it out on my short hair cat and it worked nicely on her too. In fact, she really loved it and purred and was rubbing to get more combing. Of course the amount of fur coming off her wasn't as much as the long haired but she has much less to start with. So I can see this being useful for both long and short hair though probably better for long.Overall, I'm very pleased!
