They are smaller than any string trees I have seen before (See attached photos) The Silver Ones on the left are from my Fender Telecaster, the black ones on the right are the ones I bought. The screws are smaller and the tops are bigger, but not by much. The new ones still fit in and held on my tele so its not a huge deal, but just be aware. And they work perfectly fine for their purpose.

The screws provided are too narrow to fit in an existing string tree hole. They are also too short to get deep enough into the headstock to be secure, even if you start a new hole. Finding screws to work is tricky because the spacers are narrow. I found one random screw that fit. Now I need to hunt down another.

I have to say, usually these cheap string trees are too wide and your strings are not straight on the headstock. These are perfect width and height. The edges are not at all sharp. I wouldnt put these on a fender or a gibson but if you have a budget guitar and want better string retainers. These are well worth it. Definitely buying more for my other diy guitars.

Bought a used guitar that when playing noticed it was missing a tree. Purchased these to replace the one missing tree. Not an exact match but does the job.

I really just need the spacers as I had bought some GraphTech Tusq xl string trees for one of my guitars, and it changed the situation to needing some different spacers than came with the original string trees. These got decent reviews and were cheap so i ordered them. They came in and i used the spacers. These are not $100 quality but definitely worth what i paid for them.

Wanted black ones for my guitar. This were perfect. They hold the strings well and look great.

Good product but the screws did not fit the original holes in the head stock of my Telecaster Custom HH FMT. They were smaller than the original ones.

Inexpensive option..had to file the under sides to avoid string breakage but they do the job.

Don't waste your money. Garbage.

C'est très pratique pour la tension et la question de notes sympathiques sur mes télécaster. C'est cher quand même pour de toutes petites pièces basiques.
