Works great to get rid of pesky flies
This bag works great to lure flies in and keep them away from you when outside. I do get a whiff of it nasty smell every once one a while but will take that over the annoying flies.

NO BETTER FLY TRAP!
I live close to the woods, have two dogs, and spend a lot of time outdoors. Needless to say, flys love our patio area and yard. I decided that I needed to find a fly trap that would work well, so I ordered three types. I ordered this one, another bag one that was much larger, and one of the ones that look to be a cup. I set all three up in my yard at different locations (but similar proximity to my house) to see which one was better. The results were easily seen! The cup fly trap came in second place, but was easily knocked over and my dog seemed to like to get into it. It caught some flys, but not the most. The larger fly trap had a stench that started to come from it after about 4 or 5 days... so bad that I moved it back further from my house. However, it caught the least amount of flys (still a lot, but a lot less). Now, on to this fly trap:I was literally amazed by this product. Within one week the trap was full to the top with flys. It was so full, that there was no more room for flys. It was pretty gross, but that's what I expect it to do. There wasn't the nasty smell as there was with the other bagged product and the end results were simply amazing. I don't think that a fly trap can do better than this one, so I highly recommend this one as opposed to the others. The only downsides are that you have to partially assemble it (but that only takes 1 or 2 minutes) and that it doesn't come with a string to hang it. However, I will gladly assemble it and attach a string for how effective it was!I actually bought this through Amazon (see the label), so you know that this isn't an auto-review. This product is just that good! For the price, it can't be beat!

EFFECTIVE, NON-TOXIC & PLEASED!!!
GREAT PRODUCT & GREAT PRICEFriday, July 28,2017...2:00 PM (EST)...I installed this product. By 4:00 PM (EST), it was attracting flies in great numbers. This summer season we're having a much higher than usual number of flies and gnats The reason,in my area, may be new housing construction, new gas-line construction combined with a late but rainy spring. However, we have a very teeny problem with mosquitoes...we get rid of any stagnant pools of water as soonas they appear. At this point, this product emits a mild sweet scent and this may change after a few days of rottingdead flies.During the last two weeks, I became overwhelmed by the number of dead flies after using my electrifiedtennis racket. PLUS...Construction projects now total 5 all within a two-mile radius. Most of them,infrastructure-related. The construction is beneficial but we have a big flying insect problem---not just flies.I'm glad I purchased this product...enough was enough,UPDATE: Sunday, August 6, 2017, 3:25 PM (EST)After 4 days or July 31, the odor from the trap became rather putrid like the smell of a "dead cat".By the 7th day or August 3rd, the smell became raunchy and the trap reached a shade above half-full.By the 10th day or August 6th, the trap is about three-quarters full.At the outset, I thought it was going to be a monthly purchase...more like every 10-12 days. Many days remain in this Summer/Autumn season. Let's meet this challenge head on.Yikes! It's time to reorder these traps asap.Today, I have that peace-of-mind...virtually no flies are flying near my face. What a dramatic difference!

Little Bag of Horrors
I really dislike flies but flies really like our back yard. Flies would get so bad that we couldn't sit outside to enjoy morning coffee. After looking at various products I decided to give this this one a try. I can honestly say I've never had a product do what it claimed it would do better than this simple little death trap. The install was easy. Find a location out of reach of pets, hang it up and add water. I agree with others that you do NOT want to hang this thing inside because of the smell(!), but it's OK as long as it is placed at least 10' away from people, preferably downwind. After a couple days it was catching flies in fine style. They buzz around during the day until they drift off into eternal sleep when it gets cold at night. Next morning the trap is back in business (back in buzzness?) when the sun comes up and it welcomes new guests. No need to leave a credit card for incidentals since new guests only last one day.I just came from the yard and my trap is teeming with flies -- at least a couple dozen inside -- and there are so many flies buzzing around outside the trap entrance that I almost called Air Traffic Control to help getting them all inside. I mean, really!OK...this part may be a little bit gruesome. How do I say this? These traps are Little Bags of Horror. The top part of the bag is clear enough to see through but from the "fill to here" line down it is opaque and for good reason. Floating on top of the water are an unknown number of dead flies. On top of them are the soon to be dead flies. But then I looked closer. There was something at the bottom of the bag. Could it be.....eggs??????? UCK!!!! The bottom of the bag is filled with fly eggs!! Eeewwww!!!! It's a grotesque, wriggling Halloween nightmare. This is not just a fly trap. It is a flycidle, serial killing death machine that wipes out generations of flies!So...does it work? You betcha, but keep it high an away from people and pets. Now if they can only come up with something this good for ants!!!

Super effective!
Wow, this thing works really well. You couldn't even sit out on the patio for all the flies buzzing around (gross). We hung this up about 15-20 feet away from the sitting area and I've only seen one or two now this evening. When I checked it, there were dozens of flies inside the trap. It has a bit of odor to it, so don't hang it where you sit. Highly recommended.!
