One of the Best Books on Celtic Druidism
This book deals with two basic areas--(1)history and mythology of Celtic Druidism, and (2)the teachings and works of a modern practicing Celtic Druid tradition. The sections on history and mythology use excellent sources such as Ellis, Markale, and Piggott to lay down the basics of Celtic Spirituality, including the sacrad triad as evidenced by the three faces of each Goddess (maid, mother, and crone). The other sections of the book focus on the teachings the author learned from a group of practicing Celtic Druids.I have read other books by Sirona Knight, including "The Pocket Guide to Crystals and Gemstones" and "Celtic Traditions" and found all her books to be well written and highly informative. Unlike some authors, her writing promotes a positive way of being that embraces both traditional and modern ideas. I find Ms. Knight's books to be refreshing and from the heart. I commend her courage in writing "Exploring Celtic Druidism." The only people who won't like it are people (mostly men), who are locked into their dogma and hate strong women. Celtic women were known for their strength, a tradition that Ms. Knight carries on in the face of adversity. My hope is that she continue because her books are a ray of light in a world that needs as much light as it can get.

A Wonderful Book that includes Celtic Rituals
When I bought this book, I didn't know what to expect. I was wonderfully surprised. This book is filled with information that I found interesting and practical. I particularly loved the rituals. They covered all the Great Days, and gave information on how to set up an altar, call in the wards, and draw a circle of light, along with a complete liturgy. As someone who has been doing my work with the Goddess solitary, I found this book to be very helpful in my personal quest. I highly recommend this book along with "Celtic Myth and Legend" by Charles Squire. Other Sirona Knight books worth checking out include, "Empowering Your Life With Wicca," "The Book of Reincarnation," and "Celtic Traditions." Blessed Be!!!

Excellent Beginner's Guide to Celtic Druidism
This is one of the best books that I have read! It details the basic training involved in becoming a modern day druid. Also includes rituals for all of the Great Days along with an initiation ritual. Over the years, I have attended druid meetings, but all the teachings were kept hush-hush. I like the fact that Sirona Knight had the courage to publish these teachings. I met many people who use the teachings to make money from people without really helping them. If you are interested in Celtic druidism, I highly recommend this book.

Wicca
Unfortunately she advertise as druidry that which is clearly Wicca. Not saying it's a bad book because the merging to access your power is spot on and since all magick uses it in some form it definitely works. I have practiced druidry for 30 years and used a similar techique before finding her book which teaches a easier way. If you want the secret to how all magick works then get this book. Just understand it's Wicca dressed up as druidry.
