Ohh Man! What a trip.
So It was between the asustor AS6210T vs synology 10 bay, vs QNAP TS-873-4G. I played with the user online Live demo and was pretty impressed how simple asustor looked. Asustor is basically Asus and A-data and they had a baby. I was getting tired with QNAP's offering (nothing wrong with them) but I needed a change and something cheaper.I ordered the AS6210T and let me tell you I was so frustrated at first because i spent 12 hours trying to initialize my 10x 10Tb drives. I used only one drive at the end just trying to get it working. Constantly crashing! After a long struggle, I decided to play with the ram a bit and swapped it with a patriot 4gb ram I had tossed on my bed before i was going to send it back. Now I noticed a different side of this device.Something wonderful happened. It loaded fast, it initialized fast, I'm currently moving my data over and not a single crash. I guess I had bad ram installed initially.Anyway, I love the user interface, the fast loading live ADM on a chrome brower works very well and I don't feel it sluggish at all compared to my aging QNAP. It just feels right and I have access to my movies, pictures, files, all in a tight little package. The presentation feels clean and simpler compared to the qnap. Vs synology, it's almost the same but I felt Asustor was simpler and had hidden features that I really liked.I'm really enjoying this. In fact, I kept my old qnap and setup samba connection between my asustor to my qnap. One good thing about QNAP is they have all these options to the point where it makes my stomach hurl yet I love it but then it's a love/hate relationship I had with them because the QNAP offered a slower experience and not a snappy one like asustor. Asustor built the interface to work well through a web browser. QNAP just makes good hardware and has alot of beta software that seems to be a hit and miss if you use the online offering.Anyway, this review is more like "I'm venting" more than anything and like all technology there is a learning curve.I highly recommend this product in any case.

Recommended NAS
Pretty simple to set up and you can go pretty deep into configs if you know what you’re doing. I benchmarked this NAS against other NAS systems I’ve owned. This system will saturate a 1gb connection if reading large files and still maintains a high rate with many small file reads. Write speed is better than any personal NAS I’ve tried. I did not test multiple clients as that is not my use of this device, but I would expect it is good. Tech support is very responsive and helpful.

Good for PCs - NOT Macs
This seems to be a good solution if you're a PC owner running Windows 10. Mac users should stay away from Asustor! Mac users should look at the EVO solution as it includes licenses of the globalSAN iSCSI Initiator for video editing. Further, there are few iOS apps and Asustor didn't even post them through the Apple library so you have to override the security to even run the install.

Super Easy to setup and use. Full of features!
Very easy to set up. I installed all of the hard drives and powered the unit up, set up a static IP address on the front panel, navigated to it from my computer and set it up. All of our computers are backing up to it and I am then backing the storage server up to a cloud service. I could not have asked for a better unit.
