Day one and I'm impressed. I had an allergic reaction to Noosa yogurt (which uses wildflower honey) and after the swelling on my lips went down, they became dry and cracked. All my other chapsticks would sting and provided no relief. I bought this and it came quickly. I bought the vanilla bean scent and it smells neutral. Ever so slightly vanilla. My boyfriend tried it also and instantly loved it, commenting "all chapsticks make me feel like they just leave a film on me, but this feels like it's actually moisturizing." This chapstick has given me sweet relief from my dry lips and I'm so excited to see how it works in the long-run to improve my overall lip health.

My lip balm arrived broken, and the card inside requested I contact Vintage Traditions directly before making an Amazon return. They quickly provided a free replacement plus a free sample tallow balm of my choice (I chose the Epic Balm which is my skins loves, and I’ve already re-ordered!). I appreciate the excellent customer service and high quality natural products without any junk. The tallow lip balm makes my lips soft, lasts all night, and I know I’m not ingesting toxic ingredients. I recently learned that plastic lip balm tubes contain PFAS, so the cardboard tubes are a much healthier choice! I have both the vanilla and orange flavors. The vanilla is subtle but nice. The orange is a little more noticeable and my favorite, but keep in mind that it comes from essential oils, so it’s more of an herbal kind of orange flavor, not a sweet orange flavor like you find in synthetically flavored lip balms.

Good product. Bad packaging. My melted in my truck. Basically wasted $20

This lip balm is the best I ever had or used. It’s amazing and keeps your lips feeling smooth and definitely not dry. I’ve dealt with severely chapped lips in the past until I started regularly using this product. I mean my lips were so chapped I thought something was wrong with me or I had allergic reaction. If you want your lips to heal and feel great and you want smooth silky lips then use this product.

Ive tried several beef tallow lip chaps and this one definitely has the best texture...not to greasy! Could have a little more vanilla smell, but doesn't smell or taste bad.

So far I think this product is okay. It doesn't appear to have any vanilla scent and it smells like beef fat. The scent doesn't particularly bother me, but I'd prefer an actual vanilla scent. The balm itself isn't particularly spreadable, but it is still okay. I would prefer something that feels smoother and more spreadable, but that is probably due to the tallow itself not the product. It doesn't feel particularly moisturizing on my lips, but so far it does seem to be offering an adequate amount of moisturization. Perhaps over time it will keep my lips more moisturized compared to traditional chapstick. I haven't been using this product for very long yet, so I do not have a definite opinion on this product yet. I will have to experiment more and see how well it keeps my lips moisturized. My lips do seem softer from using it. What I do like is that it's made of high quality ingredients and nothing artificial. There isn't many chapsticks made of tallow on the market, so it is nice that this company is offering a unique product. I wanted to start using lotions made of tallow since it appears to be better for your skin compared to traditional chapstick and lotion so I hope that over time this product will provide better results compared to traditional moisturizing products. I am interested in trying the other products offered by this brand.

This company really stands by their product! Especially with willing to help me out as a customer when I got a my product and there was a problem with it they made sure to correct the issue then also I didn’t expect but sent new product out right away all while checking in to make sure I was apart of each step. Not just the customer service but I love this lip tallow and will be a lifetime customer.

I received the product later than expected, it was dry and crumbly and the lid tears every time you try to put it back on.
