The perfect cowash! I can shampoo (cowash) detangle 🤩
I tried the JBCO cowash and didn't like it so I bought this coconut cowash and it was exactly as I predicted. It's less moisturising than the jbco line but the perfect amount of moisture where as your hair doesn't become gummy and overly stretchy. It also doesn't tangle my hair up as much as the jbco cowash and wash day was a breeze! I can even shampoo (cowash) detangle which I couldn't with my regular shampoos! 1000% get the coconut cowash instead of the jbco cowash!!

I'm truly converted
Well, colour me impressed. I never for a second believed that it was possibly to cleanse my persistently greasy hair with conditioner - how wrong I was. I have super fine low density blonde curly hair, and after years of straightening I've finally decided to embrace the curls. After reading the blogs of (many) curly girls, this co-wash seemed to repeatedly appear as the best all-rounder, and while I haven't tried any others, I can't find a single fault with this. It smells great, it's reasonably priced, the quantity is large making it great value, it's soft and smooth and easy to scrub my scalp with. But most surprisingly, it really truly does leave my hair feeling clean. I'm shocked! Edit, I don't really use this anymore just because I made the decision not to cowash. If I was still cowashing, I would use this

Cleans fine hair without weighing it down
I bought this for my wavy, fine hair after seeing recommendations on reddit. I have previously used Noughty's co-wash, which was alright, but I found it too heavy and oily for how fine my hair was. My hair tends to get greasy within 24-48 hours of washing, and as its fine it really shows on my head. However!! This stuff - a miracle. It doesn't keep oil away for any longer than any other method of washing (at least for me), but being able to use this and it being so gentle and detangling (plus, its as quick as a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner so great for early starts) really helps keep it longer between washes. I was washing my hair every 1 or 2 days, double shampooing each time, but I now use this every 2-3 days and wash it with shampoo once every week-week and a half. This has made it so much more manageable, without weighing it down.

a bit pricy, but good quality
Co-washing was a relatively new concept for me when i bought this for the first time couple of years ago. But it actually worked leaving my hair clean and moisturized. Hair was left soft and clean without leaving it weight down. You just need to be extra careful to rinse to avoid having a greasy-ish residue. The first couple of times i had situations when i was thinking my hair is well rinsed, but when it dried it was a bit heavier and with a weird feeling to it than it should. The amount of product in the plastic container is good, but it is not very convenient to use - you need to scoop it out. At some point i started to re-fill an airless container from which i can pump out the amount needed. Overall, i would buy this again as i have found and got used to the most convenient way for me use and my hair feels good with the usage of this. A star is taken due to the lack of convenience of the container, only that.

Great for wavy hair
This co-wash works really well for my long 2a type hair. Washing with it feels a bit weird as it doesn’t lather like a shampoo, but it does clean the hair. The product is easy to use and smells lovely. After ‘washing’ and rinsing my hair I add a few drops of oil to the conditioning stage. Leaves hair clean, moisturised and defines the waves.

My hair is so much better!
I had decided to stop using traditional shampoo as I had read some research about how shampooing can make your hair fall out (I had been suffering from this issue). I love this cowash!!! It leaves my hair feeling clean, soft and smelling lovely. I have used it for about 6 weeks now and I am not even half way down the first tub. My hair has also stopped falling out so much, used to fill the hair catcher in the shower so I couldn't see the mesh on it, as you can see from the photo, 6 weeks on and I am losing hardly any hair!! My hair feels fuller and is much curler than before, even my hairdresser commented on how much better my hair is and how nice the wash is (I took it with me and she used it for my wash and cut). Definitely will buy this again, great price compared to other products and its giving me some great results!!!

My go to cowash!
My absolute go to cowash. I have tried a variety and I always come back to this one! Smells divine and cleans my hair well. I usually use this if I’m washing my hair more than once a week. My regular hair washing is with a shampoo and conditioner and then once a month I clarify!

Cons: - May not be suitable for all hair types: While the product is ideal for curly and coily hair, individuals with fine or oily hair may find it too heavy. - Requires thorough rinsing: Due to its rich and creamy texture, it's important to ensure thorough rinsing to prevent any residue buildup. Overall, the As I Am Coconut Cowash Cleansing Conditioner provides an effective and nourishing hair care solution. It caters to textured hair types, offering both cleansing and conditioning benefits. Like how it easy it makes to wash my hair when I am very busy to do a complete wash. It keeps the hair hydrated and has good smell.

I love this for my coily curls. I have super dense, fine strands, so I can barely get to my scalp with this. So, I dilute it with water in one of those bottles with a pointed top (like you use for ketchup at a picnic) and use the nozzle to get this to my scalp. Then, I use my fingers to agitate my scalp & let the product flow over my strands. I don't need to use conditioner after using this to wash. I follow with SheaMoisture JBCO Strengthen leave-in or Coconut Hibiscus leave-in.
