My turtle LOVES this food. We couldn't find any bigger bags of turtle food at Walmart, and they were insanely priced there as well. This was the best buy and will last awhile. Highly recommend!

Have had a red-eared slider turtle for about 16 years now bought it as a pet for my son when he was little. Then found out turtles live in awfully long time! I buy this product regularly and seems to keep the turtle in good shape nutrition wise. Will continue using.

Turtle loves this food and the pellets are a nice big size for my turtle, maybe about 1/4 inch round. It definitely is going to last longer than other name brand pellets I've bought in the past. I am looking forward to purchasing the bigger bags in the future! I would recommend opening with scissors because I ruined the resealable part trying to use the tear line.

The pellets are much smaller than I had expected them to be. they're not nearly as porous as most turtle foods I've purchased in the past. they almost feel oily to the touch? but overall they seem to be high quality. They don't smell nearly as bad as other turtle foods I've purchased, and haven't dirtied up the water. My RES seems to be indifferent to the flavor and eats them along with the rest of his food just fine. Bag was smaller than expected, but so was the pellet size.EDIT: I've been feeding this to my turtle for about 7 months now and i've noticed a significant improvement in his color. His scales and shell are more vibrant, and while his eyes were always clear, they now look even brighter. The most noticeable change has been his red ear, it's a vivid red now. it had been darkening with age (he's 17), which I had assumed was normal. I still don't like how much corn/wheat/soy/gluten meal they shove into this, but clearly it must be doing something right with vitamins that the others don't. I'm going to continue to keep this food in with his pellet rotation, but the price is still a bit high for the amount of product you're actually getting.

This brand was recommended by a turtle care site. My turtles LOVE it. They always splash around for food but when I put in these pellets, they eat with vigor.
