Great book!
I didn't dislike anything. There were quite a few typos, though. Very unusual. Sandra Brown is my favorite author. She never disappoints. I have never read one of her books I didn't like.

Best book I’ve read by Sandra Brown so far
I almost stopped reading early in this book because I didn’t like a character. So glad I didn’t. The action picked up shortly and didn’t stop until the end. My heart was racing! I truly could not put it down.

BRAVO! Sandra Brown does it again!
If you’ve read the book blurb, I’m betting you’re already convinced to add this one to your TBR list. You won’t be disappointed!Anytime there’s a new release from Sandra Brown, there’s cause for celebration. She is one of the best romantic suspense writers on the scene and for years has been one of my favorite writers. Each new novel refines her talent and quickly becomes one to be remembered. This is the case with “Outfox.”In a slow-on-the-get-go twisted mind-game between a clever and ruthless old fox, who has killed too many hens and evaded capture for twenty years, and a determined hound dog with a nose for sniffing out trouble (and one who isn’t cryin’ all the time), Brown delivers a wild foxhunt. One in which Drex Easton has a personal stake. Well-plotted with plenty of unexpected surprises to keep you thrown off the chase. It’s not long before the pace picks up and doesn’t stop until it carries readers over the finish line with a flag-waving cheer.Sandra Brown aces the delivery of another intense and sensual forbidden romance pulsing with energy. There’s almost always an unforgettable happily-ever-after from her, but sometimes she makes her readers work extra hard for it.Amid the murder and mayhem, and against his better judgment, Drex is attracted, captivated and drawn to Talia Shafer, a married woman – whose husband, Jasper Ford, is Drex’s numero uno suspect. Could it be possible that Talia may even be an accomplice in Jasper’s murderous romance scams to defraud women of their fortunes? Ambiguities fill the pages enriching the story and forcing readers to constantly seek the truth. A little ambiguity keeps you on your toes and exercises the old brain a bit. I kind of enjoyed having Sandra Brown mess with my head. With a PhD in criminal psychology, an FBI badge in his pocket and his weapon always at-the-ready, Drex Easton goes with what gets the job done. Telling lies is as easy as breathing for him, along with some window-peeping, too. Yeah, he may be a bit of a bad boy, too. He’s definitely not a strictly-by-the-book kind of guy. You may not like him at first, but give it a little time and trust SB to convince you that he’s earned his spot on the infamous list of her past heroes.Once you begin, you're barely going to blink until you've reached the end and find that Sandra Brown has saved the best for last. With a high level of intrigue and an unexpected stunning “gotcha,” she may have "outfoxed" us all.Don’t miss out on one of the most highly anticipated romantic suspense releases of the summer. "Outfox" is an intensely gripping thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end -- my favorite kind.An absolute must-read!

Kept my attention - nice twists
I've been reading Sandra Brown from the very beginning. In fact, I think I have every single book that she's ever written now, and have enjoyed every single one. Her writing has evolved and varied over the years, and I believe some of the bad reviews are because people anticipate instead of read. This is one book that you CANNOT anticipate because it isn't boiler-plate. If you want boiler-plate, mirror-images of previous books, I can name some authors who do that. Ms. Brown isn't one of them.I don't like the price of her books, but that isn't a good enough reason for a bad review. The author doesn't set the price. Yes, there were typos, which was the reason for my 4 stars. Otherwise, Drex and Talia's story drew me in because they were not the cookie cutter characters that a lot of readers seem to expect. They were interesting, they had some depth, but I would have loved more (another reason for 4 stars). The plot was interesting and had the normal twist at the end that we have come to expect. I will tell you that I had the button figured out as soon as it was mentioned, but that isn't the fault of Ms. Brown.Best line? "The writing thing wasn't working out." Made me chuckle out loud. That doesn't happen often when I'm reading on my Kindle. And I loved the twists with Drex and his "profession".This book would have had to have been horrible (and boiler-plate like Roberts) for me to hate it. It would have had to have had flat characters with no history and nothing pushing them forward. But much to my liking, it kept my attention from beginning to end. In fact, so much so that I read two of Ms. Brown's books over two days. Just because they were new to me and I had to know - she's still got it.

First half very slow, but then things begin to pick up...
3.5 starsFor the first half of the book not much happens. It's all just about the 'sexual tension' between the lead characters.Around the middle of the book, though, the action does begin to start, and the story becomes quite enjoyable. Not very realistic, mind you, but enjoyable nonetheless. There is one scene where the sensuality becomes quite graphic, but otherwise it's mostly just a matter of the two protagonists' thoughts and desires. The heroine is a little ditzy sometimes, but otherwise OK. The hero is smart and broken, but he's often quite a jerk, as well.Definitely not one of the best Sandra Brown books I've read, and miles away from her 'Mirror Image', for example.Anyway, here is my detailed review:Heroine: 4 starsHero: 2 starsPlot: 3 starsWriting style: 5 starsHumor: 1 starAction: 1.5 starsSuspense: 4 starsRomance: 3 starsSensuality: 2 starsEnding: HEA, more or less.Would I read another book by this author? Probably.

Sandra Brown is fantastic
I did not like it as much as Sandra Browns other books but it was still a good read. I have every book she has written. When I used to go to the USA on holiday my first stop would be the book shop because it was a job to get the books in England. Her books are really FANTASTIC would recommend to anyone
