Lipstick Queen Bete Noire Lipstick

I've spent a lot of time and money looking for my perfect color and this is it! The lipstick itself is so light and smooth and it doesn't bleed. I love the sheerness of it. Pretty pretty pretty!

Wow!I am usually impressed with Lipstick Queen's products, but this one was substandard and I was very disappointed.I noticed that this one had a softer feel and consistency compared to the others that I have (Medieval and Hello Sailor). Sure enough, after only three uses, it broke at the bottom. When I tried to return it, I realized that I missed the deadline.The price is a little hefty for this little tube of lipstick, so it should hold up better. I purchased a similar product for $3.99 at Walgreen's a month before and it has held up nicely.I won't ever buy this again!

Was disappointed that it was not the intense color as in the picture and wasn't nearly as pretty. It was very expensive and I wouldn't have ordered it if I had not thought it would be more like the color represented.

Loved the color.Is a bit pricey. I didn't see a difference in texture or lasting impact for the explanation of price. Probably won't buy from this brand again. I could buy two MACs or Makeup Forevers for the price.

I love Lipstick Queen lipsticks. You have to go into it knowing that they do not market themselves as long-lasting lipsticks. You will need to reapply. Their big pull is how wearable their shades are, and how great their formulas feel on your lips. I regularly get compliments when I wear Lipstick Queen lipsticks.This one is a big disappointment. I knew, being a pale girl, the color was going to be questionable with my complexion. The issue is how this applies. It's cakey. No matter how smooth my lips are prior to applying, this looks ridiculously flaky. It wears like cheap dollar store lipstick. I am not sure if this is a knock off, as I've never had the flaky issue when ordering direct from Lipstick Queen, or if it's just this formula, but this is horrible. The best I can do with this is apply and blot, blot, blot, to make this a lip stain. However, per my earlier comment of these not being long-wearing lipsticks ... the stain hardly lasts. Overall, this was a waste of money.I will say despite how the lipstick looks when applied, it still feels nice on my lips. It has a lightweight and moisturizing feel that doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing pounds of makeup.

So bummed. I’m a big fan of Lipstick Queen’s Frog Prince lipstick, so I purchased Possessed Metal and Possessed Intense. They are dense, chalky, and dry — nothing like Frog Prince. They’re not cheap, so I’m pretty disappointed.

This is a deep purple-ish, metallic color that screams Diva! Great fall or "after 5" color that almost feels empowering.
