Fantastic book. The python may not work due to spacing issues as an immediate download but once you get past that you are done.Saved me a whole lot of time and energy. Martin needs to put one together for 12c.

Text in the book was skewed off the page causing difficulty in reading..Returned for an exchange... Still skewed, but readable.

I am not satisfied with the book. The link to download the code depot scripts doesnt work. The diagrams cannot be read, its blurry.I tried to follow up with Rampant publisher company about the link, the support team are not aware of it. The numbers published on their website is incorrect.I sent an email to the author of the book Martin Heinzl but did not receive any reply yet. I am considering to return.ThanksShadab

Ich hatte 2005 das erste Mal mit WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool) zu tun und habe dieses Werkzeug wahrhaft schätzen gelernt, da es einem erlaubt administrative Aufgaben hochgradig zu automatisieren. Bisher hatte es diesbezüglich keine (mir bekannte) Literatur in Buchform gegeben; diese Lücke ist jetzt geschlossen.Nach intensivem Arbeiten mit WLST hätte ich nicht erwartet noch sehr viel Neues diesbezüglich zu lernen. Hier wurde ich eines Besseren belehrt. Allein deshalb ist das Buch für mich 5 Sterne wert.Der Autor geht mit grosser Sorgfalt zu Werke und beschreibt die sowohl die zugrundeliegende Technologie, als auch jeweiligen Anwendungen/Anwendungsmöglichkeiten im Detail und das, ohne langatmig zu werden. Die Beispiele sind hervorragend durchdacht; damit ist das Buch nicht nur ein Nachschlagwerk, sondern auch ein Ernst zu nehmendes Buch für Einsteiger, die einen detaillierten Einstieg erhalten und mit jedem Kapitel tiefer in die Materie einsteigen.Sehr gelungen und für jeden WLS-Administrator wärmstens zu empfehlen
