Love This Cedar Shoe Tree
When you open the box the smell of cedar wafts out. They're labeled left and right. I immediately inserted them into a pair of Thursday boots and they fit great and filled the toe box just so. The rope at the back does, in fact, ease removing them from boots. I purchased a pair of cedar shoe trees, for boots, that are tall. Now that I've tried these, I don't know which I like better. If you're looking for a quality shoe tree, at a fair price, you can't go wrong with these.

Good but running little small
They seem to be very good quality. He’s just running a little bit small other than that I believe they’re good.

Great shoe tree, lovely smell
Im new to the leather shoe game....so I did my research on what I needed to preserve a good pair of shoes. These cedar shoe trees do a fine job. Good price, sturdy enough to last a decent time, and an amazing smell out of the box. Simply relaxing and inviting. They fit as advertised...and keep my shoes looking good. Ill update in the future if I run into any problems.

Satisfactory
After reading a few of the reviews posted by individuals who bought this item, I almost did not purchase it. But I did anyway, mainly because I was looking for a cheap option for purchase. For all intents and purposes, these trees work just fine and I do intend on purchasing at least two more. I say if you are looking for an affordable set of Cedar trees, get 'em. After all, you can always return them. I am a size 12, and I chose the 11.5W - 13N.

Looks like cedar, smells like cedar...
I picked up a new pair of shoes and needed some new shoe trees... These guys had fairly good reviews and priced very competitively, so why not? I got them in 2 days (thanks to Prime!) and they fit perfectly! The shoe trees themselves were made nicely and were adjustable without much fuss. They smelled very nice of cedar and I expect them to last quite awhile. I did notice that for an 8.5 normal shoe it was a very tight fit around the tip of the shoe. Hopefully they don't get deformed over time...

Too small
I wanted to like these. The cedar smells nice; they look good from a distance. But they’re too small. My shoes vary from a U.S. size 10 to a size 11, depending on the brand. I ordered “Large,” which are supposed to fit 10 1/2 to 11 1/2. Maybe the spring isn’t strong enough; maybe they economized on the amount of cedar. In any case, as some other reviewers have noted, the shoe trees just flop around loosely in the shoes - no stretching. I bought two pairs; both had the same problem. My late father’s ancient shoe trees (1970’s?) are better. Will have to return, alas.

Made in China *Updated: either defective or too small or both*
Made in China. Update: I am having to return these because they are either defective or too small or both. My shoes are size 11, and the shoe trees are Large (10.5-11.5), but these are completely loose inside the shoes and just flop abound. There is at least a 1/2 inch gap at the heel where they are supposed to be snug and applying pressure. I bought a two-pack, and both pairs have the same problem.

Be Careful With Sizing
These shoe trees appear to be good quality so I am pleased with the product in general. However, as one who wears a men’s size 11 shoe, I followed the size chart and bought a set of Large and they were way too small. Shoe trees are supposed to offer some “resistance” inside the shoe to keep the shoe stretched straight and tight. In my size 11 Rockport leather dress shoes, these size L shoe trees slipped in loosely with no effort and no need to compress the spring to make them fit. With the front of the tree inserted fully into the toe part of the shoe, the heel end of the tree didn’t even touch the back of the shoe. There was like 1/4 to 1/2 inch of room to spare. Normally you should need to compress the trees to make them fit. I ended up exchanging them for a size XL. We’ll see how those work out instead. UPDATE 12/22/2024: My size XL ones just arrived and fit my men’s size 11 dress shoes PERFECTLY.

I did a lot of research before buying these. The cheaper shoetrees on amazon seem to lack quality for the price, and anything more expensive doesn't seem worth the money for what you're getting (a piece of cedar). I would recommend always using a shoehorn to preserve the life of your shoes and these ones do the job at an affordable price.

Great for stretching the toe box of your shoes if you have wider feet or feel like your shoes are a smidge too small. They're very easy to use and I like that these are wood so they also absorb extra moisture. You can hang these up and out of the way when they're not in use as they have little loops on the end.

I didn't know I need this gadget until I had it for the review!!! My feet are slightly above the M width, but not Wide yet. So recently bought boots were a bit tight on the sides. My size is 7US Women in boots. In 24 hours of using the product I've got a perfectly fitting me boots and could not be happier. The shoe trees are greatly made, looks sturdy, and may serve for years and years. Highly recommended for anyone who requires shoes stretching.

These are pretty true to size and do a good job at keeping my shoes in shape and keeping them fresh. The price is quite good compared to the store I normally buy shoe trees from.
