Great price, decent flavor. This is a good value for an everyday matcha.
For the money, you really can’t go wrong with this giant, one pound can of matcha powder! At just over a dollar an ounce, this will go a long way without erasing your bank account. It comes in a tightly sealed metal can similar to ground coffee, without a plastic bag inside the tin. I’ve tried several much more expensive matcha powders, and I’ll explain the main differences between this DNA matcha and the others… The DNA matcha powder is on the duller green side when I compare it with the bright green color of more expensive matches, and while the aroma is there, it definitely doesn’t ‘jump out’ like the others. The seal should preserve it as it was when packaged, so this blend might not use the freshest green leaves of the more expensive brands. With that in consideration, if you’re really used to the good stuff, you might be disappointed, but this matcha is still better tasting than a few of the pricier ones. There is a very slight bitterness, but I can live with that. If you like to bake with matcha, THIS is a steal. I really like matcha lattes and smoothies and tend to use double the powder in my drinks to get a thicker and stronger flavor. This size package will be perfect for me, but I expect it would get stale if you’re a casual user. I’ll update my review if I note a lot of oxidation or bitterness before It’s used up. The texture of this matcha powder is excellent. It blends without lots of little clumps, and results in a smooth, slightly gritty consistency. It froths nicely with either a traditional matcha wisk or a battery powered one.

Clean flavor, good color, versatile for daily use
This matcha is solid quality for the size and price. Color is a healthy green rather than dull or brownish, which usually indicates decent freshness. Flavor is smooth and grassy without excessive bitterness when prepared correctly. It dissolves well with proper whisking or blending and works in both hot and iced drinks. Also performs well in smoothies, baking, and lattes without overpowering other ingredients. The large tin is practical if you use matcha regularly instead of treating it as a ceremonial-only product. This is a functional, everyday matcha that prioritizes consistency and value over hype.

This organic matcha is great quality. The color is bright green, and the taste is smooth with no bitterness. It mixes well and works perfectly for matcha lattes or iced drinks. Great value with many servings in one container.

A lot of quality matcha for a good price
I go on matcha kicks and I like this brand, not sweet at all but great quality! I started liking matcha from Dunkin so I was surprised when it wasn’t sweet but it still tasted better! I can’t drink coffee because it makes me antsy but this drink doesn’t! I also feel relaxed when I drink it in the afternoon. I like mine with milk and sugar

Smoother buzz than from black tea or coffee
As an old dude (81) I have relied on Earl Gray black tea, or coffee, for a stimulating buzz. But they always end up leaving me with a tightness in the gut after a few days; plus this seems to prevent deeper sleep. Macha is new to me. I got a product with Macha and other ingredients which I mix into a morning fruit smoothie. I have to say that I do get a nice wake-up stimulus, and without the bad side effect. Thus i am now trying pure Macha by itself. My initial report is that it tastes like seaweed to me, but if I find using it in the morning proves to have less side effects, I will continue it and I'm sure my body will learn to love it.

Great Value Matcha for Everyday Use and Health Benefits
I’ve tried this matcha several times now, and I like to keep buying it because it has a good flavor and a very affordable price. I mainly buy matcha for its health benefits rather than for an intense umami flavor, so for the price this matcha offers, I get a generous amount that lasts for many drinks. Sometimes I drink it with soy milk, and other times simply with hot water. For my palate, it has a pleasant taste, just a little bit of honey to balance it out, and it turns out great. Previously, this matcha came in resealable bags, but they have now changed the packaging to aluminum tins, which I think is a much better option. Sometimes the bags didn’t seal properly, but now I can close the tin securely with its lid and also store the included measuring scoop inside, keeping everything well sealed. Overall, if you’re looking for a good matcha with an excellent price-to-quality ratio, this is one of the best options I’ve seen on Amazon.

Excellent taste! Have been looking for a matcha that has good quality, and tastes strong, this is it, strong and tasty, very easy to mix! Love it.

Clear Difference Between Ceremonial and Culinary Quality
I bought these two matcha powders at the same time expecting similar quality, but they are very different and will fit different needs depending on how you like your matcha. The smaller tin has a much brighter green color, a finer texture, and tastes noticeably smoother. It whisks up creamy with no effort and has that nice natural sweetness you expect from higher-grade matcha. This is the one you want if you drink matcha straight, make lattes, or prefer a softer flavor without bitterness. The large tin, on the other hand, is more of an olive green and has a slightly coarser texture. The flavor is earthier and a little more bitter, which makes it better for baking or smoothies where you want matcha flavor but don’t need ceremonial-level quality. It’s a good value for the amount you get, just not as delicate or vibrant as the smaller tin. Overall, both are useful—just for different purposes. If you want a smoother daily latte or traditional matcha, pick the brighter one. If you want a budget-friendly big container for cooking or mixing, the larger tin works great.

No es el original,su contextura es oscura, para su precio creo que no es lo adecuado, para tal precio mejor se compra un té verde, que viene siendo lo mismo que este.

Honestly... The best I have found in the market! I requested more information on lead levels and processes used and I was well impressed. Second time I've purchased from them and will continue to do so for sure. Very quickly delivered too!

My first purchase of this Matcha brand, after trying many, and it has redefined my appreciation of a GREAT tea in it's natural sweetness, no bitterness, light creaminess, no chalky aftertaste, or clumping. Highly recommend!
