The pump has a cast impeller
The cast impeller, not a stamp steel one like the cheaper ones have.

same as hi-flow sold on other websites, has cast iron swirled impeller. machining is perfect.saved big dollars and get this water pump for your Pontiac v8. i have seen this pump for over 100 dollars elsewhere.

Great Short Neck
Couldn't find one locally. This appears to be decent quality, and works fine. I was glad to find it. None of the auto parts suppliers had the short neck water pumps.

This water pump is machined aluminum which looks awesome. And the impeller is cast, like stock, which is a must. Very nice for the price...

Exact replacement for 78 trans am with 400 engine. It looks ggod too if like the aluminum apperance. As per performance, it is the same as the OEM pump.
