At Wolf Ranch
At Wolf Ranch is a riveting drama and love story. It starts quickly and draws you in from the beginning. The characters are developed quickly and feel familiar, like a college friend. I found myself cheering for Ella and Gabe. I rooted for them and despised her uncle for what he did to Lela.

Filled with Nail-biting Suspense
Do you know how, when watching a movie where a character is walking into danger you start yelling at the screen? That was me while reading the first chapter with my heart racing fast! Right from the first chapter I got pulled in and was focused on finding out how the story ended. After witnessing her twin sister’s murder, Ella Wolf retraces her steps to their sprawling Montana ranch to figure out what she had uncovered that led to her murder. Woefully unprepared for the harsh weather in Montana, she finds herself in danger and abandoned by the side of the road. Gabe Bowden has always wanted to settle down on his own ranch and start a family. He is finally back in Montana after years on the rodeo circuit to settle into his newly acquired property, Wolf Ranch and rescues a half-frozen female stranded by the side of the road. He initially mistakes Ella for her sister, Lela whom he had recently met, but when she confides in him, he takes it upon himself to help her in her quest, in spite of the fact that his dream has been destroyed before it could even take root. From the beginning, Gabe and Ella find themselves attracted to each other, but both initially ignore their attraction and instead focus on solving the mystery.Ella was portrayed as the party girl, flighty, indecisive and always down for a good time but that was very far from the truth. Ella is actually very smart and hardworking and tough. Gabe is sooo dreamy and almost unreal! I don’t know that I would have reacted the way he did if my dreams were on the verge of being destroyed, but he protects Ella and helps her find what she needs. But how can a romance between them work out? Gabe is a cowboy through and through and Ella is a city girl.At Wolf Ranch is so much more than just a romance about two people from very different backgrounds. The gripping suspense was well written, drawing me in from the first page and keeping me hooked. Even though we know who the villain is, getting to the why was a nail-biting experience. I believe that a sign of great writing is being completely connected with the characters and Ms. Ryan knocked this out of the park! I experienced Ella’s emotional highs and lows alongside her and even enjoyed her theatrical reveal of the villain. I also love that Ms. Ryan did not gloss over the difficulties of a relationship between them because of their different backgrounds, but took the time to share with us the sacrifices they made to make their relationship work. At Wolf Ranch is a keeper and I highly recommend it!*I received this book for free from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.*

I loved this book!
There was so much packed into this book, and I loved every minute I spend reading this story.Ella, and Lela are twin sisters. They have been raised by their uncle after their parents died. raised is a lose term. He had the cook, and other people actually take care of the girls. Ella, and Lela are about to inherit the company when they turn 25. Ella's phone rings and she can over hear her sister fighting with her uncle. She races back to the house just in time to see her sister murdered. Herr uncle, and a detective calmly talk about how they will cover up the murder. They are going to over dose Ella, and pin the murder on her. She leaves the house before anyone sees her. She flea's to Montana to find out what her sister had uncovered.Once in Montana she has to find a way to her ranch. she can't rent a car, because she can't let her uncle know where she is, by using her credit cards. She stopped for coffee. The nice shop owner asked Travis to give her a ride. On the ride, Travis wants a little something for his time, and gets handsy. She ends up kicking him in the balls when he won't take no for a answer. He kicks her out of the truck, leaving her die in the snow.Gabe was having a hard time seeing the road through the snow that was falling. He saw a flash of blue. He pulled over to investigate. He found Ella collapsed in the snow. He hurried to save her life before hypothermal set in. Once she was released from the doctor's he brought her back to his house. He was bound and determined to help her find out what her uncle was hiding. He was also set on protecting her. Hey, who doesn't want a sexy cowboy there to protect you, when people wanted you dead? The two had to work fast to connect the pieces before her Uncle's people came after her. This was a heart wrenching story at times, with Ella grieving the loss of her sister. Ella didn't know where to turn. She didn't know how many people was on her uncle's pay roll. She already knew one detective was there the night her sister was murdered. This book had so many twist and turns. The suspense of the story was really good. I loved the chemistry simmering hot between Gabe, and Ella. This book is going on my list of favorites.

This Series Rocks!!
Wow! I really love this author have read all her books and the Hunted series was my favourite, im so glad that this series carries on from there and one I definitely recommend. This book is about Elle who lost not only her parents but also her beloved twin sister who was murdered and was a witness too that murder. She flees NY, and lands herself in Montana to search for clues why her sister was murdered. There she meets Gabe who got stood up at the altar by his ex fiancé Stacey a few years before and an ex Rodeo Rider who made alot of money winning to save for the Wolf Ranch he was fixing on buying, but then lost all his hard savings to an evil uncle of Elles who ripped him off. These two meet and both come together to help each other out as they both have something in common "The Evil Uncle" who did them both wrong. Along the way they both develop feelings for each other and fall in love but is it enough? As she's a rich city girl and he's just a Rancher. I love this new series and cannot wait for the next book. You have to read the Hunted series by Jennifer Ryan as it is just as good too before reading this series. As Gabe is the older brother to Caleb who is married to Summer these 2 charcters have a novella of their own but they are both in the first book to "The Hunted" series called "Saved By The Rancher". I love this author and her books! I would definitely recommend this series to read and The Hunted series. If you are a huge fan of romance, suspense, action then this is the series to get, you won't be disappointed!😀

Exciting
Very good story and I'm still reading it. Keeps my interest, however, I don't like the F word used. It's offensive. Otherwise, I would have given the book 5 stars.

Sweet romantic thriller
There are only a few errors and certainly not enough to detract from the book. There are a couple of sex scenes and there is some swearing.I enjoyed the book, there characterisation is good, enough to allow the reader to form a connection. The female lead, Ella, is strong right throughout the book. The male lead, Gabe, is strong without being overbearing. The main issue is the lack of communication with sentences half finished and a lot of angst. The plotline is engaging, more than enough to keep you turning the pages. There are a couple of places where the story stalls a little and it feels like going over old ground.I have no problem recommending the book to fans of the genre
