Life Elements Skin Cleansing Action Wipes (Action Wipes, 30-Count)

I bought these from searching the internet for the best "portable shower" method. Ended up finding these and decided to try them out on a four day camping trip to a music festival. My gf and I both used them for a daily shower and we loved them. They have a nice sent, the towelettes are very large and durable, and can be re-used for other purposes (after cleaning) as Action Wipes recommends. We didn't feel any residual residue that some reviews have complained about. I went to bed each night feeling like my skin was clean and fresh. My only complaint is that they claim each towel is good for an entire body, however each day I found that, working from my head down, they towel would begin to feel dry around my calves. The important parts of my body were clean by this point, but it was frustrating to be struggling to clean my feet. Not sure if it was the towel design, or if I was cleaning too slowly. Either way, these are my go-to portable showers and will be using them on all my camping expeditions from now on. I also like to use them after running a race, such as a 5K or half-marathon to clean up for the post-race party and the drive home. I am a heavy sweater, and these do a great job of breaking though the salt deposits on my face and body.

I brought a pack of these wipes with me for a two week camping trip in Nepal.Pros:- Smell nice- Durable, reusable wipes- Soaked in natural substances rather than chemicals- Quality caseCons:- Residual smell on skin after using.- Felt the the mixture dried poorly on the skin. Felt as though I needed to rinse with water after it dried.- Did not do a good job removing body odor from days without bathing, rather it sort of just...mixed with my current stank.- Because of the above reasons, I never really felt clean after using these, rather I was just covered in the mixture soaked into the wipes.If you're using these wipes and have access to clean water (at least, clean enough to bathe in), I would recommend using these wipes, then wipe yourself down again after soaking the wipes with water and washing off the mixture.I probably will not be purchasing this product again unless they improve their formula, or it is made aware to me that what I received was defective in some way.

These body wipes are incredibly good! they are thoroughly soaked and very adsorbent. I have used them at the office after bike rides, July runs and more: they never fail. I have super-sensitive skin, and I was afraid it could be a problem, but so far I got zero reaction.The packaging is very good too, with a double closure that keeps the moisture in. I just wish they made larger packages (the only ones I found were 30 towels)Summary: if you have no access to a shower, this is the next best thing

I live in Florida and ride my bike to work every day. Hot! I have gone through the various brands, and they all have advantages and disadvantages. Most of the antibacterial products tend to dry and irritate my skin. Action wipes are a bit more moisturizing. Because they are all natural, they smell a little like incense out of the pack but they do not make your skin smell that way. Best of all of the 4 or 5 instant shower type products I have tried.

I am a mountain biker in California. Since we virtually have no rain :-( we ride a lot on dusty trails with a lot of exposure to poison oak. The company states that the wipe and formula are good at helping to remove poison oak (even have a video from the founder using them on herself [...]. I CAN confirm that they do seem to remove the poision oak oils and the cool thing is that having the wipes (i also carry their single packs in my camelback for just that reason) handy means you can immediately pull one out to wipe off the invisible oil if I think I ran into some. This is way better than waiting to apply technu when I get home. Also like the big packs to keep in the truck for post ride cleanup with the gang. (NOTE...follow their advice and keep the big pack in a gallon zip lock bag just to make triple sure that they dont' dry out.) Great product!

I've used these on a camping trip and during a 32hr relay race (Ragner relay, where you personally run 3 legs, without being able to take a shower after each and are in a van with 5 more sweaty runners). I was the best smelling ;) And I was in the best mood. Being able to wipe down and get into clean clothes made everything so much better.I will say that I would have to use at least 2-3 wipes to feel completely clean (I'm 5'5", 130lbs). If you try to use one from head to toe, it dries out by the time you get to your toes. I don't mind using multiple wipes except the price per wipe is a little steep to do that. I would suggest they make the wipes bigger or cut the price down a bit.Another tip would be to moisten the wipe with a little more water before using them. Helps them go a little longer and you barely get any residue left on your skin.Over all I love these wipes and I will definitely buy more!

This product is everything I had hoped for after surgery. It's gentle on the skin, refreshing and allows you to feel clean when you are physically unable to shower. The cleansing wipes are very large and clean a large portion of the body with just one or two. I would strongly recommend this product.

These wipes actually lather and as such they do leave a film. I use them for emergencies if I don't have time/energy to shower or if my deodorant stops working. I would definitely recommend these for people with chronic illnesses that cannot get a regular shower every day. The way I use them is I lather up my skin with the wipe and then I rinse it underwater and wipe off the excess residue. It's not as convenient that way, but if you have a sink or a hose, it's a pretty decent solution! I think I'm gonna start washing these as the package suggests and using them as rags. My only real complaint about them is that they are a little expensive for the amount you get.
