Heavy duty and compact
This was a great find. Use this to hold pans when camping. Can use over fire pit and holds up well to the heat.

Very efficient!
I love this! Easy to transport, super simple set up and easy to use. Very easy to clean, and doesn’t bare to much weight for long hiking camping.

Excellent fireplace grill for the price
The media could not be loaded. The StanSport Heavy Duty Rotisserie Grill was a good purchase for what I was looking for in a fireplace grill/rotisserie. I grill over hardwoods I collect from my yard (hickory and oak, and apple trees) at least three times a week and needed something indoors for day of bad weather. (Not to mention it helps lower my electric bills considerably).I had looked at this one, and the one from TexSport, which was almost identical aside with an added welded crossbar on the underside of the grillmesh. The StanSport has a crossbar on the bottom supports, but the item pictured here does not have the bottom crossbar installed. The StanSport was a bit less expensive but looked to have most of the same features. The StanSport grill fit perfectly into my fireplace, which is a medium to large fireplace with about 40" of vertical space. The assembly was very easy, and did come with simple directions. You can assemble the grill for either left or right hand rotation, but for right hand rotation it will place the adjustable thumbscrews on the backside of the rack, which makes it slightly harder to reach, but not really a problem overall. I was able to easily lower the grill surface and rotisserie part so that the foods would cook faster but slow enough to get a nice smoked flavor. The adjustability is quite nice and helps to keep the foods from being overcooked or undercooked, or for making a long cold-smoke on meats. The rotisserie is easy to switch positions and is generally stable when set into one of the four rotating positions. The construction is said to be from steel, which seems to be just thick enough to be sturdy, but still light enough for transport for using outdoors while camping, for example. The parts clean easily, and the finish seems to be good. The painted surface could possibly burn off over time, but I'm not sure the type used. It would be nice to know or have a product description from the manufacturer. The only two changes I would make is I would have liked to see a heavier gauge mesh on the grill surface to reduce warping in high heat, and some type of tension on the swing arms so they don't rotate at unwanted times. Neither of these were a deal breaker however.Overall, the value is great. This is made in China, but I suppose that's what keep the price down. I would recommend this product for general use, although would be a little light for everyday or commercial use. I'm quite happy with this grill and it will keep me from freezing in the snow and rain from trying to use my outdoor grill in bad weather. I may consider getting another one for my outdoor grill if this one holds up through the winter.

Well made, and does the job
Used this to put on top of my La Cana China pig roasting box. It was perfect. Held up well. This would be a good camping grill for over some coals

Sturdy
I needed something sturdy and preferably metal to keep my MR Buddy heater off my tent floor. It’s the perfect size, but small enough that it packs up without taking up hardly any room. Doubt I’d use it as designed, but if I did it would function great as a small grill. It’s actually pretty versatile for car camping.

Very sturdy and stable
Well built and substantial. I bought it to use as a plant riser for my patio "garden" because I couldn't find anything that fit my needs as affordably (it was $31 when I bought it) as this camp grill. I'd been trying to get some variety in my plant stands/risers so I really liked the industrial look as compared to the fluffier stuff usually found at the garden stores. It was also just the size I was looking for and easily holds three medium/small plant pots.Highly recommended for this non-tactical use.I did have to touch up a couple of deep scratches with some enamel paint, but that took 5 minutes and it looks fine now.

Great for the Price
This fire grate is great for the price. Works well with my 36” fire pit. It is a little wobbly though and the metal legs feel thin. But so far no issues.
