Cute But Small Backpack
Overview: This backpack is good quality, cute, and spacious enough to hold quite a few smaller items. Pros: Design, durability, ease of use Cons: Size, space for larger items is lacking When I tell you I’ve had my eyes on this backpack for years, I mean it! To be honest, I didn’t even know they made them anymore. So when it popped up in my recommendations, I had to snag it. The size I ordered was the medium (“Little Kid Backpack”), which has the cutest design in my opinion. That said, the smaller size does make it lack in one or two (very small) ways. While I don’t believe the advertising to be deceptive, please do keep the sizing of each option in mind. The only setbacks for this backpack are that it has limited storage space, and the largest (main) pocket does not have enough room for a standard three-ring binder. For older school kids, this might prove to be a problem, so please do keep that in mind! However, the main pocket is spacious, and could probably hold a good amount of smaller books or school supplies. The small pocket in the front has one extra section which would be great for pencils or other similar-sized items. You’ll find that you can fit more than you might think, as the fabric on the sides allows the pocket to protrude more than it might seem at first glance. There is also one additional pocket on the outside, which can comfortably fit a smart phone or maybe a small drink. All that said, I got this backpack for myself (I am a fully grown adult who happens to love cute things). Is it practical for an adult? Not exactly, at least not for carrying many or large supplies. However, as a “purse,” I think it works very well. I’ve got space for the necessities like a wallet, and maybe one or two smaller three-ring binders. (If you’re a fellow card collector, you could store one or two standard four-card binders in here.) Plus, as mentioned previously, a phone can fit in the side pocket! And while the side pocket looks different from the advertised pictures, the size is still the same. Can you wear the backpack if you’re also a “big kid”? Well... Yes and no. Keeping in mind that I’m a short person (5’3”), I can wear it, but it’s a bit of a stretch. Pulling the straps out all the way to make them the biggest size, I can put both arms through it. It’s a process, however, and so is getting it off. However, if you don’t mind wearing it over one shoulder, it fits comfortably. I wasn’t expecting it to fit at all, but it actually does (barely). Make sure you’ve got someone to help you take it off just in case. I, for one, definitely recommend this backpack! The design is pleasing, and it’s very high quality. The ears and horn have stuffing in them, which gives the overall design more structure. Plus the rainbow “tags” on both zippers are a nice touch. Overall, I think a smaller kid would absolutely adore this bag. And any fellow big kids who love cute things would love it as well! I gave this backpack five stars, since I knew it would be small when I ordered it. The item arrived quickly, exactly as described, and in excellent condition. It was everything I hoped it would be!

Holds a lot and perfect for 2-3 year old to carry. We use it for travel. Great quality!
This is the cutest bag!! We use this every time we travel and my daughter loves packing it with her books, crayons, and stuffed animals. She is 3, but we got it when she is 2, so we have been using it for awhile. It has been on at least 10 flights and has held up well. I love the little pocket on the front. Coloring books are too tall for the bag, but I can bend them and they fit well. It holds a lot! We had books, coloring books, and three stiffies in it the last trip. Zipper works great!! I would buy this again!

Allows controlled freedom
This is the cutest little backpack. My son has autism and this bag allows him to have a bit of freedom without the fear of him eloping. It's pretty small and does not hold a lot, but it is great for holding snacks, toys, and a cup. I place a few diapers and a pack of wipes in there with a change of clothes when we are going on a quick trip and I don't want to carry a diaper bag. My son likes to put his toy cars and snacks in there and it gives him a bit of autonomy. The bag is holding up well and seems to be good quality.

Perfect First Backpack for Toddlers
II bought the smallest Skip Hop backpack for my daughter and she loves it. It’s lightweight, adorable, and just the right size for snacks, a water bottle, and a toy. The zipper is sturdy and smooth, and overall the bag feels very durable. For the quality you get, it’s excellent value for money.

The cutest backpack!!
We already have had the stainless steel insulated toddler llama cup, so why not the backpack too? I let my daughter pick out of the line up of Skip Hop backpacks and she chose the llama! For $15, you can’t beat this adorable toddler preschool backpack. It will hold her cup, a change of clothes, and a few other items I’m sure that will be sent home from preschool. As soon as she saw it, her eyes lit up and she wore it for the next few hours until we had to pry it off her for dinner. Lol. A few tears were shed, but atleast we know she loves her backpack. I’m not ready for her to start school yet, but she is prepared now! Zipper seems to work well, heavy duty enough for a toddler, worth the $15, and a great size for little ones going to school for the first time.

Cute but straps chafe neck
Nice and tiny for my toddler. Super cute. Fits one or two diapers, a really thin wipes bag, a thinner water bottle and a snack sized baggie of goldfish. Downside is the straps are really close together and sewn straight. They rub the heck out of my son’s neck until it’s red. There should really be a curvature to the top part of the straps to form around the neck. Or at least make the fabric smoother in that area. I noticed some people in the reviews got a certain carabiner clip and others got the one I got which is like the photos. Nothing bad about it just something I noticed.

A great backpack and the perfect size
My daughter is three-years-old and on the small side. This backpack is a great size for her. Most of the backpacks I come across are either too small or too large, but these seem perfectly designed for preschoolers. Most preschool bags are too small but this seems like an actual preschool size. You can't fit a big folder in it (almost can!), but it holds quite a bit of stuff. We don't use it for school because she is home-schooled but we use it for going out and she likes to play with it at home too. It is very well made and durable. The straps are padded and she has never complained of discomfort. It has a carry handle, a side mesh pocket for drinks, and a name tag on the inside for writing your child's name. The snout part of the bag unzips and acts as a front compartment. Of course there is also the main, large compartment as well. The bag is easily wiped clean and it has held up very well since I bought it. It is not waterproof. The bag contains a lot of whimsical details. The zippers have cute clouds with rainbows as the zipper pull tabs, the snout is polka-dotted, the bag has button eyes, ears that stick up, and best of all, it has a cute little horn that juts from its head. The colors are lovely. The bag is a minty color with pastel pink ears, and a bright yellow snout with pink nostrils. The horn is silver with minty-colored stripes. I love that Skip Hop Zoo products come with matching items that you can buy separately. If you want your child to be entirely fashionable, you can also buy a matching lunch bag, matching food containers, matching drink bottle, matching umbrella, and matching raincoat (maybe even other things). The only downside to this bag is that the large snout makes it resemble a hippo more than a unicorn. My daughter wore her backpack to church and almost every single person thought it was either a hippo or even a rhino (you think the horn would have given it away) and only one person realized it was a unicorn without me having to tell them so. Either way, it's cute and got a lot of compliments. I still haven't come across a cuter backpack than this and I love how feminine and soft it looks. My daughter absolutely loves it and I'm so glad I bought it for her.
