It works very well and is much better and comfortable that those silicone blobs you place on the ear (we combined them, but then realized that only the band was necessary most of the time).However, it does look rather rugger after 3 months of standard use. Granted we went to the sea with it, but only twice and did wash if afterwards. It still WORKS perfectly, just doesn't look good. So for what it is intended, I'll give it a five.

My son is 7 years old and it fits him perfect. I have tried other brands with pictures on them and they stretch out so bad when they get wet. This one stays secure to his head without stretching out.

It was a little smaller than anticipated. It said 1-3 year old and my son is almost 2. Yet it was too tight for him. He really hated me even trying to get it on. Wish there wasn’t a Velcro and it was more like a slip on. I would be worried about ordering the next size up. Would it be too big?

I bought the small for my one year old son he has bilateral tubes in his ears and an ear infection occurred after ear plugs alone. I used this product over his ear plugs and since a week swimming no infections yet. Only complaints have to make really tight to keep from him pulling off his head which happened the first three times the shape of the forehead piece wanted to slide down by his eyes but easy to fix in the pool. Overall would reccomend

My 19-month old currently attends daily swim lessons through Infant Swim Resource. He had ear tubes inserted four months ago, and I was very concerned about coming up with a system to keep his ears dry during lessons. We use the Putty Buddy floating formula soft silicon ear plugs along with these Ear Band-Its, and the system works well. We started using these in the bath tub a few weeks before swim lessons started, to get my son familiar with them. I even bought a large one for my husband and I to wear as an example. It took less than a week in the bathtub for my son to get over his protests. When the first day of swimming came along, he wore them happily. Now he even gets excited when he sees me packing it, because he knows it means he's going swimming.

This product is a great idea. My now 15 month old son has tubes and I tried using these on him. He wasnt a happy camper with it though. The product is great quality and it fits my son great and it has room to grow. But my son hate stuff on his head, around his head etc. He doesnt like hats either.So the few times we used it in the pool, he didnt mind it coz he was distracted with the water and other kids but as soon as he realizes he yanks it out. So we used the silicon ear plugs.Note to moms: if your some has similar attributes/likes and dislikes like my son this product wont work.I am holding on to it because every month is different with a kid. He may not mind it next month.

My husband & i bought these for our 16mth old who was beginning swimming lessons. He has tubes & even though we bought plugs, they didn't seem to stay in his ear very well. i found this & we purchased (recevied really quickly, also) it. My son really didn't try to pull it off his head but once or twice, then he forgot it was on. It really worked! i was very impressed, as was my husband. I told my brother about it (he has a little one who is nearly 2, with tubes & about to begin swimming lessons as well). he bought this too & has said the same rave reviews about it as i do! very, VERY pleased!

When you receive this you'll realize it's not worth $10, let alone $15 or more. The description claims the small band will fit head sizes 16-20 inch. My son has a 19" head and the only way this band will fit is to make it extremely tight, so tight there's no way he'll wear it. OBTW Don't select the "overnight" option either. It sounded like a bargain at $3.99. Their idea of overnight though is 2 days, regardless of how early in the day you place the order.
