Very good grout sealer

We use this on our showers to seal the tile grout a couple times a year. The sealer repels water well and usually just requires one coat. The sealer is not noticeable on the tile and does not change the tile color in any way. The spray bottle feature works well and is much faster than other bottles with the built in brushes.

This zep sealer works well so far. Not sure the durability yet because I just put it on.

Coats well.... and goes on much thicker than I expected. I used it on a kitchen backsplash and thank god I taped off the sink area under where I was spraying. It did not over spray... it just "migrated" down the wall as it was setting and would have likely ruined my counter top. BTW... hold the can at a very slight downward angle when spraying. If you hold it pointing straight towards the wall... it will shoot a stream rather than a spray. Would highly recommend.

I put 2 coats on just in case, the water really beads up. Last a long time, this is the 3rd time I have bought this product in the 14 years I have cleaned my shower.

I was between 2 and 3 stars but since the grout is still curing it's too soon to tell the effectiveness. If you're looking to contain the product simply to the grout you might want to spray it into the small container and use a brush. The spray comes out of the top of the can so you have very little control and cannot spray it much above your head height. It's a wide spray so by the time I got done the shower walls were completely coated and it had dripped down into the tub. I spent more time wiping down the walls and tub than applying it. I just hope it does the trick and lasts a long time.

The contractor that installed our shower recommended this to seal the stones on the shower floor. Have used it every few months to reseal. It is very easy to use. To speed drying I use a box fan which dries the sealant in 2 or so hours. We live in a very humid environment and we dry the shower floor with a towel after use and all this seems to help slow the speed of mildew development so the shower only needs to be scrubbed out every couple of weeks rather than every week. I’ll take it.

The smell threw me off but once it drys the smell leaves and it works perfectly.
