It's a standard 3/4" thru-hull, exactly as advertised
It's a standard 3/4" thru-hull. Seems to be high-quality. I drilled a hole through the boat, added some 5200 to the outer flange and a little tapping with a mallet seated it. Held onto the outer side with a large file inserted into the hole and had a helper inside the boat crank down the nut. There's 2 nubs in there to hold it while tightening -- there's a special wrench for this purpose, but I don't own one. Just used whatever I had that would fit inside and hold it.

I don’t even want to rate it a 1 star!! Exactly NOT what they described in the photos! A complete misrepresentation of the product that their selling!!! I should have read the fing comments and reviews! I hope this saves someone’s money!! This IS NOT A SCOOP; DO NOT BUY IF YOUR WANTING A SCOOP PICK UP!!!!
