Great Danish Oil
Great value for any woodwork staining project. Leaves a natural feeling finish with no excessive shiny residue. Wipe on and wipe off and you’re done.

Great stain
I like the rich dark color, follow instructions on the can. For extra smooth finish, apply stain and gently sand with 320 before you wipe it dry.

Love the product but HATE their color photos
Love the product but HATE their color photos. I initially bought the golden oak and WOW it was almost banana yellow. Then bought light oak a color no one here carries, so I bought online (at wonderful Amazon). This color is more of what I needed. It is easy to apply and when it dries the scent is almost gone but do not go by their color chart or you are screwed! They say to try out a hidden place....DO IT. Thankfully I just used a q-tip size. I used the danish oil on raw wood and it gives it an amazing, almost hand rubbed finish. Gave it a four out of five solely because of their lousy color chart.

Hard to mess-up
I built a piece of furniture in pine and wanted to darken the rather white original color while preserving the natural wood patterns.I was contemplating using a stain followed by polyurethane, but the difference of grain in the pine layers gives a zebra effect which is not quite pleasant (the top piece in the picture). This product doesn't produce that much contrast and the result is more uniform (the bottom piece in the picture). The application is both easy, fast and forgiving. The time you have to wipe the excess of the 2nd coat can have a very large range: the product will not dry and produce the gummy mess that other oil would (e.g: tung oil).Picture show before and right-after application. The initial shine will disappear as the oil dries and will leave a finish somewhere between satin and matte...
