Q: will this work on textered plaster walls?

We would not recommend using the adhesive strips alone on textured walls, securing it with screws would be your best option.

Q: How much higher than the crib should it be installed for a frib in the lowest setting with a 16month old sleeping/standing?

The camera should be mounted 4-6 feet off the floor and 3 feet away from the crib.

Q: How high do I mount this?
