Would these hold a credit card and be able to pull the card in and out easily?

Yes, these could hold a credit card, however, you would not be able to pull the card in and out easily. These Index Card Pockets are quite a bit larger than a credit card and could, therefore, make it difficult to pull the card out at times.

Could you write on top of this with a dry erase marker?

I just tried to write on one and it does not dry. A Sharpie black permanent marker dried after a very short while but then became permanent and neither a yellow or a blue Sharpie highlighter would adhere to the plastic.

Can you insert cards from the top on the 3.55 x 10.8 card protectors, or side? The description says top load, but the picture shows from side.

How easy is it to remove? Thinking of using inside a kitchen cabinet door.
