My natural doctor prescribed this product to me, and since natural medicines and remedies work MUCH better for me than doctor prescribed "drugs," I bought these and have been using them for years. I had a cyst near my gallbladder that I had a surgery to remove a few months ago, and having taken these pills before and after, they are VERY helpful. Before the surgery when I'd get a stomach ache, if I took an S.A.T. it would clear up the pain in around 1/2 hour, and I used to get REALLY bad stomach aches because of the cyst. After the surgery I'm taking it more regularly, and 1 a day keeps me feeling fine. If I have a problem though, I can go to the label recommended 2/day. It may possibly cause some slight gas, but nothing embarrassing. A very good product from a very good company, I'm glad my natural doctor told me about these!

These are top notch. The difference is intangible to most but you have to read between the lines. That comes from my wife's blood tests for her liver enzymes which show improvement. Silymarin (Milk Thistle extract) is the best natural liver detoxifier and liver damage protector out there. Cynarin (Artichoke extract) is also a similar species of thistle and often used to compliment Silymarin. Curcumin, the third component of the combo is an excellent bonus. I can't praise Curcumin enough. It's one of the most potent natural herbal supplements used in Ayurvedic medicine. This supplement has all three in a relatively strong doses and the Thorne quality gives it an edge. Never underestimate the importance of quality when it comes to herbs because it's a critical factor in their ability to change metabolic action and thus the end results. The same name herb but of lower quality can be worthless. There are lots of low quality herbs on the market but this one is Superior quality. I have researched and used alternative therapies for almost 15 years with excellent success and I recommend this product if you have liver issues.

So far so good. I've been using this product for less then a month now. I bought it to see if it would clear up my forehead acne. Although that didn't happen, it did clear up my back acne. Which I'm so happy about. I'm going to keep taking this product to see what other wonderful benefits this has on my body. A healthy liver is what keeps our skin looking good. Of course there are many other factors that determined the state of your skin. But after trying so many different products and life style changes I decided to give this a try. I'm Glad I did. I hope this review will be helpful to someone. Ps...I take one in the morning and one at night.
