Marakesh Leather Handmade Seahawks Leather Hair Barrette - Large Green/Lime

The seller packaged the item very well and shipped immediately--it arrived early. They also included a bonus leather key ring (very cool). I am a 6'2" male with thick waist length beautifully and professionally maintained dreadlocks. I have worn my hair in a ponytail using a simple black elastic band and wanted to dress up my look with something that was easy to is. This is perfect! My hair is too thick for it to hold a full ponytail but this can hold a partial ponytail with the rest of the hair hanging. I have received comments from men, women, and even teen boys (wondering if I were a Seahawks fan). It is made of very strong and high quality leather and they included two sticks. I will definitely order another.

Back in the day, 1976, I had a tooled leather barrette. Somewhere in the decades, between moves and husbands, it got lost. I missed it very much and was thrilled to find the Marakesh Leather company on Amazon. The barrette arrived in a brown paper bag made of recycled material closed with twine tied in a bow. I love it. I have very thick hair and this fits well and fit even better as the leather stretches out. It is very difficult for me to find something this big and yet so stylish. I have salt & pepper hair and it look good. I caught my 30 year old niece looking at it the other day and I think I will get one for her too.

Beautifully decorated, my mom loved it, got her this for Christmas. Was worried since it said it wouldn't arrive till after Christmas. After I made my peace with that info I got it in the mail 2 days after I ordered it with a personal thank you note.
