20mm Headset & Lapel Lavalier Microphone Windscreens - 8 Pack

I bought these foam windscreens to go with my new mic I bought for gaming and phone calls, the V-MODA BoomPro Mic (see my review for the mic for more details on that). The BoomPro mic doesn't come with a windscreen of any type, so I knew from the get-go I'd be investing in some.I bought a few sizes and by far, these are the best quality and have a perfect fit. They slip snugly over the BoomPro's mic end and don't move at all. The foam used is nice and thick and dense, and filters out wind (tested sitting about 4 feet away from a large "high velocity" fan with the fan on) perfectly, and still allows my voice to be heard crystal clear.The value can't be beat. For under 5 bucks, you get 8 windscreens that work great and are very well made. I tried another size that was smaller, and paid 6 bucks for 5 screens, and they were inferior to these ones by far.So if you have V-Moda's BoomPro Mic and need some windscreens, buy these with confidence knowing they fit perfectly and work great.

I can't find these darn things anywhere locally but the seller has them and at a great price.They fit perfectly on my Mpow Trucker Headset as well as the Blue Parrot 350 I own.They block light to moderatly heavy wind without stripping much volume away. You might need to speak a smidge louder than before installing but the person you talk to won't hear that wind noise that drowns everything out anymore so it's a minor inconvenience in order to get a much better phone call.I highly recommend them for not only trucker style headsets but gamers, telemarketers or any headset usage where wind, even the slightest, could be a factor.

Bought these for use on PC headsets and they work great for that use. Offers protection to the mic and improves audio quality by reducing breath noise and pops. Great little accessories. The material is durable and each one will last for a good long while.So far I've used these on a Logitech G930, Plantronics 995, and a Plantronics C610. They fit fine on all three although the mic boom on the G930 is at the upper limit of what they will fit on.

...But then, I knew they were kinda big going in. I needed something beefy to cut wind noise on a couple of Sennheiser ME-2s. These windscreens do the trick - they stop the air rushing in, and greatly help sound quality.On the other hand, they definitely draw attention to the mic, so they're not perfect for every single situation. Plus, it can be a little difficult to fit 'em over a lavalier with a clip, but a quick snip with scissors to make a slit on one side fixed that problem.Overall, they rock. They do what they're supposed to do, and cheaply, to boot!

I've been doing audio logs/dialogues with my Logitech G930 headset for a couple of months and started getting a bit irritated with the "popping" sounds and the screeches when I'm emphasizing the "S" of any words, or the "wind blow" effect, and the "echo" effect when I speak a little louder since I'm in a pretty small room. Found out about windscreens, came across these, and ordered some. These have practically eliminated 90% of my problems. I can speak clearly without altering the mic position and I pretty much don't need to do any audio editing. The other 10% of the issue is faintly heard but I still get "popping" noises when I strongly emphasize certain words. It's minor though.It's a tight fit but if you have a mic larger than the Logitech G930, these won't fit.

No issues whatsoever. These don't have that hard plastic lining that some headset microphones tend to use, but I didn't want those kind. This is exactly what I was looking for. The quality seemed good/comparable to others that cost more.I typically tape the windscreen to the mic's because they get pulled off after lots of costume changes, so I will do the same with these.I'd purchase these again -- great price for the product.

I have not tested other products but these are pretty nice size for my 4 Bluetooth headphones. I have not done a thorough outdoor test for the wind noise, I just bought these to help reducing the TV or kids noise while making calls at home and they have helped 10% to 20% with noise cancellation which is not much
