A handy carmin, which is not far from being a dark cherry red. You could mix this colour quite easily, if you've got an Alizarin Crimson or other intense red as a base, but it's handy to be able to fetch it straight from the tube.It's useful for mixing into a portrait palette for pink skin tones, and to warm-up deep shadows if you are going for warm darks.

Not as advertised; much smaller volume.

Always use this paint. It is a quality paint.

I like this colour. Seems expensive in Canada compared to States.

So, Rembrandt oils don't have the best consistency, but I sometimes buy them to try different pigments that other brands don't carry. When I saw they had ultramarine green, I thought it was the single pigment color (PG24) which I haven't seen in oils. Alas, this is a mixture of PB29 (ultramarine blue) and PY129 (copper azo green-gold). I'm just leaving this review to help other buyers avoid making the same mistake.

I love Rembrandt paint, the pigments quality and fluidity of the medium is at the top of my list.
