Weird construction, weird fit
This underwear is, well...weird. It's oddly sized and shaped such that, from the mid-thigh down, the legs hug my legs as I would expect, and are pretty much fine, while the uppermost part of the legs and the torso part are baggy, with too wide a gusset between the legs and too much unused space, so that that part doesn't hug at all. The back of the waistband seems to be being pulled down by some unseen force and I have to keep pulling it up, while the front rides higher. The fabric is not particularly soft or comfortable, and there are weirdly placed seams running up the back that can rub and feel odd when I sit down. I might try a smaller size, but then, I'm 6' 3" and the size XL, for all its bagginess around the pelvic region, is barely long enough for me.I've only just put them on for the second time - it's been unseasonably warm here for a while now - and i don't remember how warm they keep me; it's expected to go down to 21 degrees tonight and I'll try to remember to notice how they function and update my review. For now, all I'm particularly aware of is the weird cut of the things.I might look for natural-fiber long underwear from some other, possibly bigger and better-known brand, if I can find such a thing.

Warms Me Timbers
I say fit as expected with question marks. It seems to fit pretty much like a large regular in their other weights, except it did feel just a bit more binding, but I suspected the extra tug I felt was from that the extra gauge of expedition weight fabric that could easily produce that extra tug. I make that mention because I am quite picky about fit. I ride a bicycle all winter, and I keep my house cooler than most ever do, so these thermals help me keep warm. I was afraid that they were just a little too small, but I will have to assume the viability of some correctness when it comes to that extra tug, extra gauge theory which could easily be the cause of these feeling just a little more binding than one of their lighter weight long under wear with the exact same size. At 66 years of age now, I believe I will be moving into the expedition weight, military grade thermal set permanently now for all my wintering. A little warmth can help put the wonderland into winter, so the right outers and unders` are important for making it outdoors.

So comfortable, work great
These are comfortable, and decently warm. If I was in the snow, I'd probably want two or three pair on, but for the cold desert mornings when I have to work outside, it's perfect. I've worn them when it was several degrees below freezing, and my legs didn't feel the bite of the cold at all. I only bought one until I could see how they are, and I will be buying more! A note on the fit; I've noticed some advice to buy one size bigger than you need. The pair I got were sized pretty much as advertised, and I had no problems. If anything, they were a little large, but they'll likely shrink with more washing and be exactly right; they've been washed twice so far. I'm a rather large/wide man, and these are perfect even in their larger sizes.

Not that warm
I like its low price, black color, durable construction, and 100% cotton construction(because cotton absorbs body odorslike synthetics won't). But, these aren't anywheres near 'expedition weight'; such blatant false advertisement. They are like regular long-johns, not all that warm.

Expedition weight is much better than "heavyweight"
Expedition weight is much better than "heavyweight", they are thicker and more durable than heavyweight, about twice as thick and are superior. I live near Lake Tahoe and these expedition (military grade) pants work very well to keep you warm in the mountain cold during the winter. 4 of 5 because they only come in one color (natural/beige). Highly recommend this product.

Mediocre stiching, light weight, not terrible
NOT EXPEDITION WEIGHT. False advertising. Light to medium weight.Stitching at waist band is not great. Zero fabric overlap to give strength and longer life.Waistband looks OK. Reasonably sturdy.Comfortable, for now.

keeping warm
They're not as heavy as in the past (4/5 years ago), but they are heavier than most others. The quality is ok... one pair had a seam in the crotch separate (about 2 inches long) so i just hand sewed it and they are useful now. I would buy again!

Nice long johns
Having owned this brand in the past, the fit was as expected........which means a lot of crotch (comfortable, non-binding), and a little long, but not too long. They are warm enough, have a decent waistband, and they are 100% cotton (no snap crackle pop from static electricty like poly blends). They also aren't $30-40-60 a pair, which is a huge plus.

thick thighs save lives.. just not in these
be aware the thighs are very tight. I bought these for my L/XL partner who usually wears a L in stretchy pant things. these are very nice(they are mine now haha) but if you have thick thighs or bigger hips order a size or two up. They were too tight around the thighs/calves to use as sleepwear let alone working labour job outside.Im smaller(AFAB) than he is by several inches and less thick and still find them fitted. Very warm!
