The old rod was rusted and corroded. These fit perfectly and did the job. can't really say much more than that.

You need two of these plus two wing nuts to complete the job.
The brass rod is to replace the corroded rods in the Sta Rite filter. The filter requires 2, and 2 wing nuts. The item is for only one rod, nuts not included. This is too expensive for a complete replacement.
