I got this for my son to use and I use it as much as he does. I wouldn’t do a whole lot of real cooking in it, but this is wonderful for his snack like Jalapeño poppers, chicken tenders, fries, little things like that. It reheats items or heats things that you don’t want to put in the microwave bc they get chewy or weird. I did a small on demand chimichanga in this l, just brushed it with olive oil and it came out nice and crispy but not saturated in grease. This thing also rocks for peppers. I put some Pablano, Anaheim and jalapeño peppers in (all different occasions), and it charred the peppers beautifully in 6-8 minutes.People whining about temp settings and such are suffering from overly high expectations on this little machine. It works wonderfully for what it is, don’t try and make it something that it isn’t by trying to cook three course meals in the poor little thing. It cooks all of your standard gross American frozen fried food type items, it is perfect for one person/ one serving at a time, reheats meals, is soooo easy to use for anyone, just turn the knob and go. If you are not certain on the time, just open the basket and check the food and take it out or pop it back in. This would be great for younger latch key kids to make snacks or a little dinner you prep for them but don’t want them using the oven just yet and the microwave isn’t the best option.

I bought this on prime day in 2019 bc i couldnt decide if I really wanted to spend the money on a bigger one.I use this to reheat frozen goods like - Aldi breaded chicken, tots, fries etc... I have not had any issues with the lack of temp control for my use. It couldn't be simpler to use or clean, drawer and tray go right in the top rack of the dishwasher.. The basket is small so probably not for a big family but perfect for us. :)

I liked that it is quiet, I tried eo cook a Small roast in it and it was in for 30 minutes and still came out rare, i had to slice it up and give it another 10 minutes to get it med well. Next time I will make sure to use Thinner cuts of meat. This roast was about 2 inches thick.

This was my first air fryer. There’s no temperature control, only a timer, and there’s no applicable instructions. There’s a “cookbook” that comes with it with some very complicated recipes that can’t even be followed with this air fryer because they require control over the temperature, which this unit doesn’t have.I successfully cooked some delicious bacon in the unit, but here are the problems:1. The unit puts off a strong chemical/plastic smell that invades the food you put in it. At this point I’ve cooked in and cleaned the unit at least 10 times and the smell is still there.2. Since there’s no usable directions I just kinda winged it, I tried French fries and besides that they had the chemical smell, about 15 of them came out perfect, 4 came out inedible because they were raw and another 5 were edible but not quite cooked. I stirred and tossed and shook them about every 4 minutes so I’m not sure what I could have done differently.I tried battered fish last night and it came out super uneven, really dry, and with that plastic smell.3. Though the description says there’s a safety feature where the unit will turn off when the drawer is removed, my unit stays on all the time unless I force run out the timer.It’s just not great. Not worth the money for sure.

I love this product but the odor is a huge problem. Not sure if it's the coating on the inside or not but it's overwhelming and actually gets into the food so you taste it as well as smell it.. I put it outside to let the air circulate inside it but that did't help. I decided to let it run with without the tray and did that about five times and that helped a little. I'm hoping with a few more times using this method will solve the problem because apart for the smell, the food I've cooked in it has turned out great.

This air fryer is the perfect size to cook portions for 1 or two people. Compact size and cute color make it an easy add to your kitchen. One control for time cook works great for frozen snacks and small entrees. Non- stick basket and tray are super easy to keep clean. I’m really glad I bought this product.

I love this little guy. So cute and it actually works. It automatically stays on a set temp, so you don't have to try and adjust it for each thing you cook. The only thing you have to adjust is how long to cook it. Super easy and the food tastes great. :)

There is NO temperature control??? I’m still playing with it because I like the looks of it and the easy clean up. Cookbook is frustrating because all recipes come with instructions for temperature. I would like to know what temperature it actually cooks at in order to make adjustments.
